  1. Hi there. I am preparing documents for HR ADVISER (223111). I am CIPD qualified with 12 years HR experience (5 yrs post qualification). My current official Job Description is HR ADVISER - Retention and Progression..... and is quite specific in tasks/duties rather than generalist HR duties..... and it is not accurate to what I actually do. I am not able to approach my employer for a Statement of Service due to risking job loss! I do have all my letters of appointment, showing my Job Titles covering 10 years in HR with the same employer. Has anyone adapted their Job Description to better match the HR Adviser job description for Vetassess? Surely this is necessary for those of you deciding to go for HR Adviser rather than HR Manager? Any guidance would be appreciated. Many thanks! Karen
  2. Hi there. In the very early stages of preparing skills assessment for HR ADVISER. Do you all have a degree? I have CIPD level 7 post-grad diploma but no degree PLUS 12 years HR experience. The http://www.immi.gov.au/asri/occupations/h/human-resource-adviser.htm states..... This occupation has a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 1). I am wondering what my chances are of obtaining a positive Skills Assessment. Many thanks
  3. Hi Freckleface I am finding it soooo difficult to clarify whether VETASSESS will consider 12 years HR experience and the UK level 7 CIPD post-graduate diploma as sufficient criteria for ANZSCO 223111 HR Adviser (as i do not have another degree) The Aus Immigration site says This occupation has a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 1). Can anyone provide guidance as to whether VETASSESS would approve? Many thanks,
