I got a good news today.. AHC did'nt got my medical results properly from IOM which they submitted on 3rd Dec 2012 . sounds like i'll go through medical again. I thought i was dreaming.. sadly i was awake.. lets see what happen next . i have to call IOM tommrow and tell them that what LLEH is going on with my Medical results..

I thought its 12months for male but my CO told me that its 12-18 months , So time frame is 12-18 months- could be lower who knowz

As PCC last for 6 months Mine expired on 9 March 2012 . when i send it almost one month was left .I was thinking to get one , are they going to ask for new one??? its a headache to get one .

I call them today and i was told to wait , the lousy women on the phone asked me to WAIT a few more months till my security check got a blaa blaa . . . Seriously i dont know what they were doing with my application for the last 11 months ..

Its good you share your experience with us , but all the members of this thread have applied to Australian High Commission -Islamabad- Pakistan. Security clearance in Pakistan takes forever - 4-8 months ( Actually no one knows - not even those sitting in the high commission Islamabad ). You are one lucky fella coz your CO told you about your PC will take up to one month . The CO in Pakistan are not that friendly , All they tell you is to WAIT WAIT WAIT... so wait .

You can read from Page1 to the last page to have an idea of WHATS going on in AHC with the people who are waiting .. the wait part is the hardest .Most of my fellow members are suffering along with me ..we all are in the same boat of WAIT .. you can join us .

Yes i am a MALE applicat.. my time line is applied on 22nd Feb 2012 Case officer assign 22 June 2012. 27 June asked for Form 80 October 26 asked for additional documents like. FRC , Nika nama , statment from two brothers etc Requested Medical on 15th November , Medical submitted on 3 Dec . I call them on Jan 8 -2013 .i was told they are waiting for my securty checks . they dont know how long it might take . 12-18 months i guess.

I called the AHC today and i was told to wait Upto 12-18 months to finalize my case. my case is in "security checks" these days and they don't have a time frame for WHEN they'll receive my checks -Wired .Neway nothing left but to wait and chill.

Anyone got a call form AHC ?? any news ?? ... its frustrating not knowing whats going on.

I was trying to call AHC they never pick up... when they did after hours of trying i was told to call tomorrow . (call timing = 11:24 am.)

I wont take a gamble to Go to A Pakistani Airport with-out visa sticker. To me it looks like shooting yourself on foot . Dont save a few rupies , instead get a sticker ..
