I am looking for a company to take me on as a plumber anywere in Australia , I am looking for a sponsorship and a career with the one company. Every man and his dog seem to be a plumber here , I went to do my plumbing license exam which is a one day practical exam and two people who didn't have a clue passed the exam ,, money making scheme comes to mind ! I ring up for jobs out of the paper as early as 7 am and the companies say I am (for example) the 20th phone call already <<< My TRA for my GAS got rejected as they require 3 years minimum clear work history and experience from my last qualification which is nvq level 3 ,( I have 2years 4 months ) so I need a sponsor now , I have 7 years experience in the plumbing industry and the standard of plumbing and work attitude is quite poor here which makes you more upset in a way ,, Thanks for your replies ] andy

Hi rupert so is that a definite answer , you don't have to prove 12 months work history because I have passed the points system but that is the thing that is stopping me from applying as I only have 10 months with one employer , can it be 2 months in oz to make up the 12 ? 3 different migration companies have said that it is a requirement ? What would happen if I got sponsored and on the date of application being approved and I go to start work and the company doesn't have enough work for me , what are my legal options ? Would I be automatically deported ? Can I get another job? How long do I need to work for the employer before I can apply for the permenent visa? thanks for your help as I am really stuck here, I don't no any GOOD migration lawyers , my kids and fiancée are in the uk and I want this to happen

Hi , I have a compan willing to sponsor me and I want answers to a few questions please. 1 how long do I have to work for them before I can apply for my residency? 2 as I am a plumber what would happen if the company doesn't have enough work to give me my 38 hours a week , would I be able to get a part time job ? Can I work for another company if so what are the complications ? 3 I have also passed the points system , but I have 1 problem , I don't have 12 months continuos work with one employer I only have 10 , could I work two months for an Australian company to make up the 12 Help needed regards Andrew
