A really good website to try is http://www.applydirect.com.au/ or http://www.seek.com.au It is a difficult time here at the moment, due to the downturn of mining projects and the coming leadership election in September. Many companies are being cautious with their recruitment which has impacted a lot of people wanting to come out on 457's. The market will pick up so keep an eye out on the 2 websites. There has been a slight decline in the number of 457's issued in the past few months due to the coming leadership election here in Australia. I would advise keeping an eye on wesbites such as SEEK and companies such as HATCH, GE, Chevron etc. Sorry I cannot be of more help. Regards Colette

The best place to look for blue collar positions within Australia is at www.seek.com.au I will advise anyone at present especially on the blue collar side, that the market is a little slow at the moment. The slow down in the mining industry has had a huge impact and companies are being very cautious on recruiting, especially from overseas.
