  1. Hi please anyone help me..

I’m a micro biologist trying to migrate for last 2 years with my lack of experience I couldn’t make it. With the current occupation list I have an opportunity to apply for migration. I wanted to know

I have 1 years of post experience in a hospital as a general scientist and I’m doing my MPhil research for last two years. Totally I have 3 years of experience

Is that possible me to add my MPhil research experience as working experience to apply for migration.

    Thanks you

There are a number of things that the immigration would consider for the MPhil research experience as a working experience.

    1) Is your experience a paid experience with 38-40 hours per week work?

    2) How relevent is the MPhil research experience with the occupation migration assessment that you have completed?

If both question answers are positive. Gather the payslips of the experience, contract of employment and a job description from the university/employer to submit with your PR visa application.

  2. Hi

I'm new to this site and was wondering if anyone had and helpful information that could help me move over to Australia.

I was over in Auz for 12 months 3 years ago on a working holiday visa, I then went to NZ for 2 years on a sponsorship working with racehorses, I was with my Ex partner whom i have had a child with and had to back to the UK as we didn't get on anymore.

My child is now almost 2 and we have been to Australia twice once in Feb 2013 for 3 weeks and in Nov for 8 weeks (vising her grandparents) I have been looking in to how i can move over to Auz with her and be closer to her family as they are a great help and its very sad every time we have to leave to go back to the UK and say goodbye :( I have degree in Equine Science, and have lots of different equine skills, but although studying for 5 years and paying study fees i can not come over with this qualification. I have worked with racehorses and other equine disciplines my whole life but now i have had my little one it is a career i would struggle with due to 4am starts and the danger of getting hurt (being a single parent)

Basically i am wanting to move permanently to Australia to be closer to her family, does anyone have any helpful information i can use?

    It will be greatly appreciated

    thanks

Check the Skilled Occupation List (SOL) and Consolidated Skilled Occupation List (CSOL) in http://www.immi.gov.au

You would need to apply for a Subclass 189 (SOL) or 190 (CSOL) if your skill is in one of the occupation lists.

    Good luck

  3. Pregnancy wouldn't be an issue. Just notify the doctor during the visa medicals.

If you have submitted a Student Visa application and a subclass 190 as well, the visa's get processed separately. By reading your post, it sounds like you're just plain stressing on thinking about the future :) .. take it easy..

  4. I travelled from VIC to WA and stayed here to complete my 1 year job experience to get my skills assessed. I had this worry each day for a year and a half living in WA that my skilled occupation may be taken of the WA list. Finally it didn't, got the skills assessed through VETASSESS (HR Advisor) and got WA SS.

My opinion would be, get your skills assessed. VETASSESS can take uptil 3-4 months to notify about your skills assessment. When the skills are assessed, you'll have more leverage to go for any state that has your occupation.
