  1. Nurse practitioners have completed 18 months post graduate np masters in aus and can prescribe medication. .they can have their own clinics and have alot of autonomy. .5 years nursing experience required first before masters can be started...that's in qld...salary starts at around $100, 000 pa...different in other states

  2. Have an intro, main body and conclusion. .make sure your writing is easy to read...always refer to the question..dont go off topic...watch punctuation and spelling..you dont need to use complex language. .I got 9 after third attempt. .for me writing it with a clear begining, middle and end seemed to make a difference. ..bit of luck needed too I think ;)

  3. Advantage is you only need to do modified assessment. .takes 16 weeks...you cant apply online..you need to send in paper application..have a look on anmac website. You will need qualification certificate, references, proof of registration etc...the website gives all info

  4. Yes thats normal..you cant have an eoi and visa application In process..its an automated response..does not indicate anything other than that you have lodged application

Got a mail from skill select that my EOI is suspended because I had applied for a VISA with the EOI. Can anyone please lemme know if it is normal? Also does that mean anything about getting closer for CO appointment?

    Thanks in advance guys.

  5. Ahpra takes a while. .there is some time lines on here..mine took 8 weeks a year ago but see ppl waiting 6-8 months recently...anmac is easier after ahpra with less documentation required..and cheaper....I didnt need personal refs for visa...anmac taking 16 weeks currently

  6. I would stay at a hostel/motel for few days and use that as address then update when u are settled..we done similar ..some ppl stay in these places for months n have all mail delivered there. .or there are lots of free accommodation in return for a bit of wrk..do that for couple weeks n use their address? Leave phone number when you leave wth whatever address you use in case of any problems

  7. Lol they are repetitive though..two completely seperate applications for a married couple is pointless..past addresses n rental/personal refs are same...not all real estate agents have long winded application forms n requirements. .we tried to avoid those ones! One wanted 8 refs in total from us and they had to be aus references only..we didnt get that rental but we did go to the anti discrimination ppl and got an apology :)

  8. Depends where u will be living...I dnt find the range of things are as good here...clinique is similar prices here but I cant find as many shops that do it...shampoo/conditioner is expensive for what they are..also my skin and hair completely changed here and the products I used before now arent suited n dnt wrk for me..I miss the uk products n selection...nails are $20 near me...they dnt have a big boots or similar that I have found..the chemist places arent the same....and there is no always ( sanitary products) the ones they have are awful..really crap lol ive tried them all...my hair cut, all over tint and foils is $170 in qld...was $120 in sydney..depends where u go...took me ages to find a cheap one In sydney n it wasnt very good :/

  9. You can do police checks and medicals before you apply...for medicals you need a hap id and can get this by going through 'my health declerations' and emedical client...or you can wait till you are asked for these...only colour scanned originals are needed, I only scanned my degree cert as you dont get points for lower qualifications so no need to prove them. Good luck. Once I applied I got my visa in 4 weeks but I front loaded all documents.
