My partners Mum lives in Liverpool so we have been there a few times, I like the shopping. I'm from Scotland and my partner is from Guernsey, which is where we are living just now. Hi, Thanks for replying. No neither of us have been before. My partner was offered the chance to work there so we decided to take the experience on. We are very spoiled in the Uk with Mother Nature not posing any threat to us (bar the odd flooding or tree falling in the wind) so hoping we will learn to protect ourselves from the weather extremes :-) Looking online there appears to be lots to do for the children which is great. My son loves being outside so finds winter here very frustrating. Where are you? Sarah

Hello I am guessing you and your partner have made the move to Townsville now. How are you getting on? Are you enjoying it? My partner and I are moving over with our two young children in February from the Uk, I would love to hear how you are getting on :-) A lot of these threads seem to be quite old which is a shame. Hello My Partner and I are moving to Townsville in February with our 2 year old boy and 6 month old girl. We are very excited :-). My partner is an avionics engineer so will be working at the airport. For now I am a stay at home Mum.
