  1. Hi Dua,

sorry i I just logged in to the forum.

Wow, it's amazing to hear about your grant, congratulations. Have a wonderful time in Brisbane.

You don't need to advice any department about your entry. After 2 years of your lodgement date, the department will contact you for more evidence etc for Permanent Resident Visa 100 so keep all your evidence with you.

    Good luck!!

now by grace of God I am in Brisbane, now what should be I do now , Do I have to inform Australian embassy about my entry in Australia or what, please guide me for next stage.

    thanks a lot.

    stay blessed

  2. I have not seen any Decision Ready checklist for Partner Visa really, however, I did read about it for Skilled migration visas which was introduced in order to speed up processing of visa applications. It allowed Migration Agents to lodge complete, ‘decision ready’ applications, which were then priority allocated to a case officer for processing, but this is also not effective now.

Ok, don't stress too much on this. If you have provided all docs from the AHC Isb checklist then you are good.

Thanks for your reply I was just going through online list of Attached documents and found this option in the Evidence type : Decision Ready Checklist with following sub options: Agent Declaration - evidentiary requirement

    Nomination Decision Ready checklist

    Other (specify)

    Visa Decision Ready Checklist

Just want to know if this is something regarding 309 Visa which can help processining the application.

    Regards

  3. Sorry I should have explained it a bit, there is no 'decision ready' checklist. Just follow the checklist available on AHC website, provide all documents/evidence/statutory declaration in one go & you should be good. I even submitted my PCC too but couldn't do medical as I did not know me HAP ID. So if you submit everything mention in the checklist + PCC+ Medical then this is Decision Ready file, subject to no further requirement from CO/AHC.

    Hope this helps.

Hi aussiegirlbay just wanted to know some information about decision ready checklist. I followed all ISLAMABAD AHC visa checklist for 309 visa and provided all the evidence but I did not provided decision check list I needed to know how can I provide decision ready checklist.
  4. I understand what you mean but I think CO can extend medical validity for 6 months if they need to, it's PCC that has to be upto date at the time of grant. I don't mean to say relax & don't worry but I would say you can't do much about it so take it easy.

    Aussie Girl Bay

Thanks aussiegirlbay I just wanted to contact them because AHC ISB do not seem to care the way they talk and other members on the forum have at least got an interview call or CO assigned to them my wife visa medical was submitted in jan 2015 and will expire in 12 months she will have to travel for 7 hours each way to the closes medical center considering the fact AHC ISB did do any thing to the application.
  5. Oh dear... Don't worry. It's not longggg.. To be honest, I am amazed how things have changed in past few years, when I applied I made a Decision Ready file except me medical & got grant in less than 6 months, no interview or anything so I don't know what is happening these days with regards to Partner Visa. I really pray all who are waiting, get their grant soon.

    Aussie Girl Bay

Ten month n twelve days completed, just waiting n praying :notworthy:
  6. The average processing time for Partner Visa is 9-12 months, your wife's case is still within the time frame so don't worry. Even if you try calling DIBP or AHC Isb you will get the same reply so you just have to wait till she is contacted by the department if they require any doc, otherwise she may get direct grant.

I have been reading this forum for a while and this is mi first ever post. I have a question. I am an Australian citizen and I got married in Sep 2014 and applied for my wife's partner visa online in Dec 2014 provided medical and biomatrics in Jan 2015 but we have not been contacted by the Islamabad high commission at all. I have called islamabad couple of times all they say is do not worry we will contact you when we need. should i be worried its been 7.5 months and not even initial contact by high commission or I should contact immigration department here in Australia to get any answers.

    thanks in advance

  7. Not a problem :)

Ideally, you should provide docs within 7 days, but if you think you need more days to provide these documents then I would strongly advice you to contact your CO and request her for extension and explain her your situation. I would say get access to your machine soon and don't delay your case any more.

    Good luck!!

Thanks a lot for your so much concern and help,

actually I came from another city to Islamabad only for interview after interview I got email they required this statement and the skype history I uploaded in October now they are saying they found internet option empty, now have to upload again and some more recent chat.

the problem is this they given me only seven days time to upload required documents, I made statement of my two family members today and get attested from district court of Islamabad, but record of skype history not possible unless I reached Karachi.

    be happy always.

  8. Its very easy, I can't exactly do the wording as I don't know in what capacity those 2 witness know you as it could be like :

    Dear Sir or Madam,

I am X’s mother and am writing this letter in support of X's Partner Visa application and to provide documentary evidence of their relationship as a couple. I became aware of her interest in Y when she first met him in university. (If it's an arranged marriage then you need to change the words accordingly). It was apparent that she liked him and loved his thoughts. Amazingly, in a short span of time they decided to get married.

    few additional comments...........

    Sincerely,

    Mrs ZZ

    Mother of Mrs. X

    Hope this helps.

Today I had face to face interview at AHC Islamabad after interview I got email they need some documents,

Can anyone tell me how I made following statement and they give me only 7 days time to upload these documents.

Affidavit/Statutory declaration written by at least 2 persons from

family members in Pakistan in order to witness and support your

relationship. Persons who provide these statements should state reason

of how they believe in your relationship, how they are related to the

applicant/sponsor and they should attach their photocopy of NIC or

    Passport.

    please advice me

    thanks

  9. Yes as FRC are of two types: 1: by birth 2: by marriage. As you are married, you are part of your husband's family so you should get FRC by marriage as this is the right one for Partner Visa.

    Aussie Girl Bay

    Hello guys,

Aus consulate has mentioned a requirement of FRC (family registration certificate). I have provided the one that contains information on my family that is my father, mother, brother and sister. Do I need to provide another FRC with my husband as head of the family and me as the spouse?

  10. Probably you didn't satisfy the officer over phone hence they need to probe little more about your relationship so you are asked for face to face interview, please go prepare this time and leave no room for error!!

    Good Luck!

    Aussie Girl Bay

    Sallams ALL,

I need some suggestions, I had my 309 visa telephonic interview in April I gave few wrong answers during interview, now after two month I got call from immigration I have to come Islamabad for face to face interview.

Has anybody have same experience please share, why they call me for face to face interview.

    JAZAK ALLAH

  11. The whole Partner Visa processing takes about 9-12 months although Pakistani Female applicants do get their grant in 6-8 months. If your case is genuine & have submitted all documents then you don't need to worry much about refusal. Just take it easy & enjoy your time while you are in Pakistan.

Hopefully you will get your grant soon.

I applied online in firs week of november 2014.Had interview in mid of april 2015 same day case officer appointed.CO asked to submit some evidences on tht day.Got mail from AHC Islamabad in firs week of may tht they got the documents and standard processing time is 9 months and nex day my relatives were interviewed whom statements were given as witness and da same day CO email to again submit my Pasport ,Id card and Polio certificate as its not that clear.Till thn not heard from them anythng its been 15 days.Im so tensed as its been already 4 years to my marriage..las year in 2014 september my husband got PR and he applied my case in november. Please can anyone let me know how long to wait more?Im worried tht will they grant me or refuse. My medical is abou to expire nex month as i did it wid my husbands medical las june.
  12. When did she get her medical? If it was done a month ago then certainly she can explain this to CO. Otherwise, her PCC & Medical both needs to be valid before entering Australia. So don't waste more time, simply get it done, to be honest it won't take 1month really.

Also its 8 month now and when she/you lodged partner visa you guys were aware of the processing time which is 12 months so please wait patiently for the grant.

    Aussie Girl Bay

Weird things happened to My wife, Embassy called her and asked for medical again as previous medical is expired.

last month they asked for form 815 and case gone to final decision maker . now after 1 month saying medical is expired again go for medical

really pissed off its more than 8 month , medical take another 1 month to process

  14. Salam,

Happy New Year to you too!

Sorry I didn't know you from Bangladesh so no the checklist I provided earlier won't work for you.

This is the correct link with all info related to Partner Visa-Bangladesh, check this out:

    http://vfs-au.com.bd/family_partner.html

    Checklist:

    http://vfs-au.com.bd/pdf/PARTNER-visa-checklist_290514.pdf

Evidence to prove genuine relationship are not country specific so you can ahead with that info but with regards to how to apply & checklist etc you need to go with Bangladesh AHC not Pakistan.

    Hope this helps.

    Dear Aussie Girl Bay,

Salam and many thanks again for important observation in this regards, I will try to collect docs as per your advice. I am very much sorry that i did not mention I am from Dhaka, Bangladesh. So i just can manage docs as per Pakistan related which will be same i guess for Bangladesh.

I will post again to keep in touch if i get stuck in any issue.

Good luck and Happy New Year in advance.

    Thanks, Maximus

  15. You very welcome Maximus007, appreciate your feedback too.

You have plenty time (1month is more than enough to sort out your paperwork)

This is Partner Migration booklet which I advise everyone to read as it's very helpful:

    http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/1127.pdf

Now coming back to your questions: no IELTS is not required for Partner Visa applicant.

She has to satisfy DIBP that she is in a genuine relationship with her Partner, this has to be done by providing evidence in 4 broad categories: Financial, Household, Social, Mutual Commitment towards each other.

For Financial: bank statement (even if it's not a joint account) any transaction made by you in her account, any money transfers through western union or any other mode.

Household: monthly bills on her name, lease agreement, letters addressed to you & her separately or together but shows same address.

Social Acceptance: any birthday, wedding invitation card, letter addressed to both of you, any get together with family, friends, in laws photos would help, but she needs to mention person(s) in photo with date

Mutual Commitment: honey moon trip, hotel, flight ticket, any gift receipts, birthday celebration together, photos of you two together, any future traveling which you guys already booked ticket etc.

This above examples should help her to begin with her application, she can add more later too, once you will leave she has to show communication with tells them that you both are still in touch like Skype Chat history, telephone bills, facebook messages or whatever you both used or gonna use.

    Hope this helps.

If you need any more advice please ask, there are few guys who just applied on this thread so they may give you more tips.

    Good Luck!

    Dear Aussie Girl Bay,

Thanks for the useful info. Could you please give me some idea what sorts of documents i can arrange for my wife? IELTS required or not? and how can i sum up documents like financial or social or personal history while apply in online? As i am going to Aus next month so i want to sum up all docs for my wife. Your cooperation knows no bound and i know u r doing a thankless job. Thank you.

  16. Your Salam has accepted by all :P

If you go through AHC Pakistan website you will find this info clearly: 'The sponsor does not need to be living in Australia at the time of application'

    http://www.pakistan.highcommission.gov.au/islm/120822pg9diac.html

Your wife can apply for her Partner Visa but as a Sponsor you have to meet the 'Usual Resident' criteria means you live & work in Australia. So even if she applies now while you have not moved to Australia, at some point later she has to prove that 'Sponsor' which is 'You' lives & have job in Australia. She will be asked to show your tax return or payslip etc so keep this in mind.

Also if you look at Form 40SP, Sponsor is required to show 'Length of Residence in Australia, Australian Address' so it would be good if you move soon.

    Hope this helps.

    Good Luck!!!

    Aussie Girl Bay

    Dear All,

Please take my Salam. I(male) got my PR(190) on 04/08/14 and got married on 08/08/2014. Now i am planning to move OZ on January'2015. My query is that can i apply for my wife before going to Australia?or i need to go OZ first and then apply for my wife.
