  1. Hi, ours said this - If you have the original boxes for your perfumes then please put them into the boxes. If possible please seal each box/bottle in a sandwich bag. This way, if one bottle leaks it will leak into the bag and not into the box of perfumes. As long as the bottles are not full and unopened then customs shouldn't want to charge import duties and taxes. Hopefully they'll be OK as to be honest I havent had time to pack and bag them all and shippers coming tomorrow! Getting v hectic!!!!
  2. Thanks Lindor, I've emailed our shippers but I'll try them if I don't get a definitive answer, cheers for the help
  3. We're shipping our stuff out next week but have a massive collection of perfumes/ cosmetics and quite a few in plastic bottles. I was wondering if anyone knows the best way to pack them? Plastic boxes? And if so where do you get these from?also, we have most of the original boxes, but will we get charged duty if we put half empty bottles back in their boxes or is it best to throw the boxes away?A lot of them are niche/ expensive perfumes so it would be good to keep them but is it best to pack them first or let the shippers do it? Thanks for any help you can give, cheers
  4. Thought as much, heard nothing anyway. Guess you have to get used to that when applying for jobs! Thanks for that

  8. Hi, there seem to be a lot of job sites. Which are the best ones or do they all display the same jobs? Im looking into railway or training jobs in WA, thanks
  9. Oh well it was a nice dream while it lasted! Expensive car in Australia then.....
  10. Really? Does this include any vehicles or just c vans? Would you have used up 6 months of it if you have it in the uk or is it from arrival? Depends how far is classed as travelling too I guess. Thanks and sorry bout all the questions!
  11. Sounds pretty painless! Well done Kelly and good luck!
  12. Sorry, still weighing it up- been in Malta a few weeks hence no reply. Thanks for the advice
  13. Hi, our car is on its last legs and we've got 6 months before we move. I've read a few threads that suggest it's perhaps cheaper to ship a vehicle over than to buy one on Oz but I was wondering if this applies to camper vans since they're more popular there. We thought it would be nice to have a mobile holiday vehicle once there so if anybody's got any advice- buy one here and have it for 6 months and ship it or try and get by with our dying car and buy one in WA? If we buy one here I guess parts are something to think about too. Are Japanese makes good for Oz? Thanks
