I read somewhere that they have fixed the number of visa grants in family stream each year and they receive more applications. When that number is up, they may consider to grant the visa in next year..so thats the cause of increase in the timeline. Just wondering if anybody know when does their year start and when does it finish??

I think you should inform your CO and I don't think that you will need to come back to Pak, but it's better to confirm from your CO.

Congrats bro..HAP ID will definitely be there..as it is must..infact you will require the print out of the email attachment sent by your CO to carry with you for getting medicals done.

Does anybody suggest that it is a good idea to complain on global feed back ? will it effect the application in any positive or negative way??

AHC is so stupid. ..first they keep saying they will finalize in 12 months as this is the mentioned timeline..and when the 12 months are over..they say its 12 to 15 months and the character checks are still pending. All this is drama and playing with our emotions. All they have to do is to delay upto 14 months for male applicants. I know even the most simpler male applications took 13 months..not a single male application was finalized in time frame of 12 month

Bro it doesn't depend on medical and additional documentation. .for male applicants it is always 12 to 15 months

Hey bro did your CO call you and tell you this ? Don't worry as this is the online system. IOM may send it again..that will not take much time. But I guess it's good sign, your application may be near to finalization.

Faisi bro did you travel label free ? May b it's too early for me to say this..but I am just thinking way beyond Can we travel multiple times in and out of Australia on visa 309 ? For example if somebody has to come back to pak (in case of any emergency) after initial entry to Australia. Is it possible ?? Is there any problem if ur passport is visa label free ? Or it is better to get it labelled ?

Hey bro..InshAllah you will get it soon..when they are just prolonging the cases even after medicals, so it doesn't really matter when you get medical done. All they have to do is to extend beyond 12 month timeline for male applicants

Hey guys plz help me. . I received call from my CO today..she was asking few questions regarding form 80 that I had submitted in April 2012. According to her these questions were asked by security agencies regarding my job and dates of my previous foreign travel.. I explained her and then she said that she will resend the information to those security agencies and only after subsequent clearance from them, the file can be transferred to decision maker.I am worried how long it's gona take more ?? As my timeline has already past 12 months..and I was expecting some good news from her now. I am really worried. .are they gona start my security checks again from the beginning ?? Which means another 9 months ?? Or they can clear it in few weeks ?

Mine too is more than 12 months now..Plus neither they respond to email nor they pick up the phone:( seems like they consider ourselves as guinea pigs not humans !!

Bro according to my knowledge they ask for additional documents once only..if they had asked you earlier, most probably they will not ask you again. Usually they request for medicals alone if they would have asked for further documents. But I guess they will definitely ask you for new PCC sooner or later before visa grant.

Bro you will get your medical request in this week. .IA. .get ready Me too had gotten after 10 months. And now 12 months have been passed..yet no news. I guess 12 months is the minimum time..and the point is how much more time it takes Anyways, I have read on DIAC website that they deal with applications according to the date. So its our turn now of male applicants. Hope for the best.
