PAKISTAN WAKAI ZINDABAD but our politicians and policy makers are stupid , we are already suffering of so many issues and now paid politicians+mulla jee are coming to make it more worst !!!!!!! and this off course is gonna effect all of US , disturbance in any country do not help the immigration they will have one more reason to refuse cases or take long time and when this kind of incidents happen in any country they do not issue the visas so please guys all pray that MAY ALLAH BRING PEACE IN OUR COUNTRY that other countries do not treat us like bad people Ameen

Fraud hi hai.. But i'm sure mulla-G going back to canada after that and will enjoy the Niagara Falls and his Bentley Continental V8... Thanks to him for creating hurdles for the ordinary persons like us.. Not us only the whole city will be disturbed and more risk for the poor people.. Politicians do not die, Only innocent people die.... Where the **** was he before..?? Security checks are only for innocent people like us not for the people who say "Should i catch the next flight to pakistan" and people listening to that call (speech) say " No Brother(bhai) No. Lol .. What a joke..!!

Notice to Australians in Pakistan (particularly in the Islamabad area)

A Pakistan religious organisation Minhaju-ul-Qur'an International is planning a very large public rally in the centre of Islamabad on Monday 14 January. The participants in the rally led by Dr Tahirul Qadri are expected to take part in a Long March along the GT Road to Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Road closures and traffic diversions are expected to be in place from Sunday 13 January. Benazir Bhutto International Airport could be affected by road closures. It is not clear when the rally will conclude - it could possibly last for several days. Australians living in Islamabad and surrounding areas are advised to monitor the situation via the local media, exercise due care and precaution, avoid large crowds and limit their movements.

The Australian High Commission (including the Visa Section) will be closed from Monday 14 January until the security situation returns to normal.

Hello guys hows everyone ????? anyone has got any update from AHC today ??? i called them but they said Today is Friday and Partner Visa section do not take calls on Friday , is that true ??? i think website confirms that they do take inquiries from MON-FRI.May be on Friday they do send request emails but Thread is quiet which means no one got any update or email from them

AHC and their staff are fully back and working on the cases as i mentioned on Page 424 before i got call from them yesterday.. Which is a good sign they have started their work.. May be its possible they don't take calls on Fri coz its their half day..!!

INSHALLAH everything will be fine and will be getting Grants soon...

Hmmm Any idea about the renewing the passport and what to do if its renewed..?? Should we have to tell AHC by phone..?? Or Any kind of Form we have to send them..?? Need your opinion guys..!! Thanks..

Form 994i and 971i are just with the information for the partners moving to Australia, Partners rights and how they can stay permanently in Australia..Nothing about filling out them... That's it nothing at all.. Good Luck..!!

Form 886 is not available anymore on DIAC website.. It was up there till year 2009 or 2010. But now they have removed it from their Forms section.. I don't think so its compulsory anymore...!! Mickey i have sent my passport with vevo printout coz visa grant number has been mentioned on it , along with the bank draft payable to Australian High Commission Islamabad and form 1405 and return address

UK also take pretty much a year in giving the spouse visas, Unless your sponsor is very high profile tax payer which results in the favor of the applicant and quick processing... And UK have that English Language Test.. We are on safe side. I know some people in Australia who came on Spouse visas and it took them pretty much a year to settle-down and speaking English properly.. And another thing requirement of Assurance Of Support (AOS) was removed from Australian Partner visas on 1st Jan 2012, which is a really good thing. Otherwise Sponsors had to provide $10,000 bond to the Department of Human Services in Australia before the visa grant, and its refundable after 10 years.. AOS was only asked if DIAC came to know that sponsor is not earning good money , Studying Or on Social Welfare payments (Centrelink). I don't know if anyone submitted that bond with DHS before 1st Jan 2012..

We should be thankful to God.. Seriously!! My Friend got his Canadian Spouse visa in 2 years.. He applied in 2010. Now that's what u called strictness...!! I hope DIAC (Department of Immigration and Citizenship) don't do this with the applicants in future.. !!

Security Checks for Pakistani's only take longer, if person is living or Born in FATA , KPK (old NWFP) and some other regions.. Sorry to brothers and sisters if anyone of you from these regions, It does not mean to dis-respect or degrade anyone, We are all Pakistanis. But as everyone know some Out Sourced Powers divided us in parts... I hope one day we won't be recognized by regions anymore.... Every region or part of Pakistan, will be recognized with dignity and respect INSHALLAH!!. GOD BLESS PAKISTAN and its People..!! Pray hard..!! Good Luck Everyone..!!

It not only about the male thing...major factor is that we are Pakistani's and we all know the security situation in our country..otherwise If u apply the same thing form UK or somewhere else then Its maximun 5-6 months process..

Guys Don't Panic... TRN number is only applies to the people who got their visas filed ONSHORE (AUSTRALIA) They can check their visa processing status through this. Here's another thing folks.. This VEVO (Visa Entitlement Verification Online) system won't work until u get your visa OR you have TRN number... So stay Calm :-) I don't know about Chhayaa how she got all the details on VEVO about her visa, Unless she's granted one... But it does not work with our Case File Number at all.. ..!! GOD BLESS U ALL..!!

I lodged my application at AHC ISB bro....for male u have to keep 12-14 months time duration...if u get it early than that than u r lucky...

:unsure: That's insane...!! Farr out its 12 months for u now..Hopefully AHC grant u the visa soon.. Don't think of that MRT thing.. Just a wastage of time and more money, nothing else.. $1540 is their Fee.. Seriously!! Hope ALLAH keeps us away from that MRT thing..!! We get our visas in a real way coz we deserve it (AHC -ISB).. INSH-ALLAH!!

Well Rees bro u r lucky becoz mine DOL is 10th of April but still i am waiting for the Medicals even i sent Form 80 along with initial documents , there system is headache really , wish u a good luck for positive decision , have they asked u for the interview ????

Bro before seeing u on this thread i was very positive that my case will be finalized in 9 or 10 months maximum but after meeting u my hopes are down it may vary from case to case but still the looks of it show that they will also drag me to 11 to 12 months :mad:

 

Relax bro.. U will get ur Medical request in the first week of Jan hopefully..!! Coz they r really taking so long in ur medicals..I don't know why.. Ur's and mine Ack letter dates are pretty consecutive (Close).. Well i hope to hear some good news from you very soon.. Faisi-10's case is different from u.. His case was transfered from Bangkok to ISB.. That could be the problem.. Coz new Case officer will have to start analyzing the application from the beginning. well in that case i guess my security checks are under progress coz 2 months ago my CO called me asked for some corrections in that form regarding my education and work..and i remember she said something like that " they are not getting some thing regarding your education so if u can provide me the details again on phone then it will save time in ur processing".

My Form-80 correction was done 3 months ago on phone.. And Medical was asked in the late October and was done in the first week of November.. No news so farr...

Bro relax its a kind of logic everyone is giving because as u know its the year ending and a lot of Holidays Coming... The Department may have some kind of Quota for giving visas which completes at the end of the year.. And obviously AHC will try to finalize the cases came to them in December 2011. And besides that Yes u r right ALLAH is Almighty , Nothing is Impossible for him. So Be cool and relaxxx.. Don't take any stress.. May be Department issued many visas today or will issue in this week to the Applicants who do not know about this Forum. Its just us may be more than 20 people using this forum.. What about others who applied.. There are more than 500 Applicants..So we don't know anyone got Visa today and in this week how many people will get visas.. Coz they r not @ this Forum... Hi guys.. just wanted to post a quick update from myside..got here in Aussie on Saturday.. have my bank account open along with Medicare and the first thing they asked me was whether I have visa label or not.. so if you guys are still wondering about it I would suggest that you go for it for now it may save time u know otherwise it's not a problem...other then that through weather is hot arghhh :(so get ready for that if you are planing on coming this month or the next...apart from that I'm dead bored so ladies prepare for that too.. anyhow I'm thinking of starting a job I hope I get one..

Also I had 29kg luggage along with hand carry at Islamabad airport but theyblet me through.. thank God.. so if you have around 26-27 kg bag for Thai I think it won't b a problem..

Is not that will be good.. No more phone calls to AHC ISB.. You can submit your application in-person. Opening hours of AVACs will be 8.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, with phone lines operating until 5.00 pm Monday to Saturday. Client service officers who speak both Urdu and English are available...
