I applied online, but, at the time I applied, there was not other option but to have the documents posted by mail. And it's a long weekend there in Australia now. I think I'll have to wait much longer.

I'm also still waiting. They received my documents on 22 Oct too. Such a long wait. I am feeling stressed.

Congratulations for your good start in Queensland! I had studied at the University of Queensland. Brisbane is an amazing place with great weather and everything. Thanks for sharing your new life. I love your photos. Those taken in Brisbane make me miss that place so much. All the best for your whole family!!

Yeah, Sunshine Coast would be a great place for good warm weather and a rural life. Actually all the way from the Sunshine Coast to Cairns feels like that. I stayed in Darwin for a few months several years ago. And it's also a good place.

Considering the recent decrease of the Aussie dollar's value, it becomes a bit more acceptable. I paid a lot of money when I was studying my master's degree in Australia. The tuition alone was nearly A$14,000 for a semester.

I got Listening 9.0, Reading 8.5, Writing 8.0 and Speaking 8.5, Overall 8.5. For the whole visa application process, I still have to wait for another two months until I get one year's work experience to meet the occupation assessment requirement. Hope things would all turn out fine.
