Im already bored about all this Thatcher debating, not by you lot im talking about the media, i literally couldnt care less and the annoying thing is now theres gonna be programs about her taking over the television for the next god knows how long. its like when Diana died, at first i thought it was really sad then after years of documentaries about her detailing every part of her life im sick of it, yes she was a nice woman but i dont want to be bombarded with information about her, even recently they had a program about her, by now i feel i know pretty much everything about the woman it drives me mad, next there will be a documentary documenting her bowel movements as thats about the only subject they yet have not covered. Rant over.

Hello all i was just wondering if anyone knows what areas are likely to be in need of landscape gardeners, so far i have heard Melbourne is in the middle of a big construction boom so quite possibly Melbourne, but if any one knows any other areas or good companys like CityWide that i could target. If anyone knows of any companys or agencies that are willing to sponsor someone on a 457, i would be extremely gratefull if you could pass that info to me. Im still under 30 so can get down there on a WHV but will eventually require sponsorship as Landscape Gardeners are not on the main list and require 457 sponsorship for residency. Ive made a pretty good contact on here allready who has provided good infomation but would like to make more, there cant only be 2 landscapers on here cmon where you hiding so as much info would be great thanks. Cheers for the info landscaper81, i have a few questions i would be very greatfull if you can answer them. What is a 176 visa? i know the 457 but never heard of the 176, also what immigration agents did you use and how much did it cost? What exactly are the IELTS and TRA?

Yes thats the plan, im hoping to come down on a WHV do the 3 months regional work, then get a job as a landscaper, after that i hope to get sponsorship to be able to stay in the country. is that a good plan?

Hello poms in oz, i am a landscape gardener from Essex i want to get down under by 2014, just gives me a little more time to get more qualifications and experience before i come down. I want to start making as many contacts as i can now so if anyone here has any good tips regarding finding work and sponsorship i would be extremely gratefull. Im not too fussed about where i want to live and work but a few places i am interested in are, Perth, Darwin, Port Douglas, Adelaide, Broome, Sydney, Brisbane, Townsville, Newcastle and Gold Coast.
