  1. Hi rackspace ! Congratulations on the grant of visa. Which Visa is this, spouse (309) or the visitor visa (600) as I read on some previous posts that you were also looking for visitor visa after medicals done for spouse visa. Regards, newone
  2. Congrats Star1 and have a happy and prosperous life ahead. After a long time someone got a visa on this thread. It looks now people should expect visas. Regards, newone
  3. Even if I enable the filter option in the spreadsheet, they will not be usable by viewers as the spreadsheet is view only. The reason for making this spreadsheet view only is if a write access is granted then people modify it and data become useless. Regards, newone
  4. Hi Everyone ! Here is the new spreadsheet with detailed timeline for spouse visa (309) from Pakistan. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApSEdZhHP5UGdFFpN0RWTTlzSXd1M1d0c1JPWDExanc#gid=0 Hope you will like it. If there is a data error please let me know. Regards, newone
  5. Hi XEN ! When did you get the medical request and have you submitted it, if yes when. Also when did you actually lodged your application. Generally the acknowledgement for the medicals is not given. In any case your medical results should be available to AHC Islamabad with a week / 10 days. Regards, newone
  6. Hi Sulmar ! The VLN Number will be something like AUV-PK-NN-NNNNNN-X where N is some decimal number. Do keep in mind they take sometime to get the data into the system. Regards, newone
  7. Hi Sulmar ! This new style of lodging the application started on 10-Dec, 2012. http://www.pakistan.embassy.gov.au/islm/Visas_and_Migration.html My wife lodged her visa application in AVAC Islamabad on 14-Dec, 2012. Since then it is nearly three months gone and we have not heard anything other than the acknwoledgment from the AHC Islamabad. I don't know if this new system will do any quicker or will be more or less the same. The processing time for a High Risk Country (Pakistan is among them) is 12 months. Let us see what comes forward. Regards, newone
  8. Thanks for the feedback guyz. Yes I am planning to add all data as soon as I find some spare time. Regards, newone
  9. Hi Friends ! I am trying for the timeline spreadsheet to look like this. Obviously it is not yet complete and will be a read only copy.... https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApSEdZhHP5UGdFFpN0RWTTlzSXd1M1d0c1JPWDExanc&usp=sharing#gid=1 Suggestions / comments please. Regards, newone
  10. Hi Friends ! If someone is having difficulty in adding their data in the excel spreadsheet, let me add it for you. Just send me details and please try not to change data for other members as this is a very important piece for the current and future applicants. Regards, newone
  11. Hi Rees Ahmad ! I have restored the version that was updated till 19-Feb, 2013. I may miss some minor modifications thereon, so if there is some correction please let me know. For new users please let someone know so as the data is added / updated properly. Regards, newone
  12. Hi vexperts ! Here is the check list right from AHC Islamabad website for Partner Visa: http://www.pakistan.embassy.gov.au/files/islm/120822-pg9-partner.pdf You may not be able to front load medical as it requires an ID that is usually given by the CO. Without that ID IOM will not entertain the applicant to go through medical examination. However you can front load with PCC and it is a good idea to do. As for females the visa is generally granted in less than 12 months (between 6-8 months) so PCC will not expire as it has a validity of 12 months. If for some reason the medical is also front loaded the first entry date will be on a very short notice as it is before the expiry of medicals. I have no idea about the migration agents so someone else on the forum may be able to answer that. Regards, newone
  13. Please avoid sharing this info on the forum as it may result in attracting forum moderators and posts may get deleted. Regards, newone
  14. Hi All ! In case someone needs to export skype history for the sake of proof for the communication between partners, here is a freeware software: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/skype_log_view.html I have tested it and it is working perfectly. Regards, newone

As far as I know, starting mid December, 2012 the application needs to be lodged through AVAC in one of following cities Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore. 20. I think as per spreadsheet it is 5 female applicants and 1 male applicants. Everyone has been allocated the CO. More often it is the single magical CO. Regards, newone
  21. I did follow the GSM route back in 2009. I had to complete the CDR process as it was a mandatory requirement for GSM visa. After I came here in Australia in July 2010 and started looking for jobs, surprisingly nobody did ask for an Engineers Australia Membership. I think it also depends which field you are in. I am an Electrical Engineer with majors in electronics and communication. I had a few CISCO certification on top of 05 years experience in a Telco. Now I am working for a well reputed IT company. They never asked me for Engineers Australia membership. However I do think that it will help. As you have got the booklet already you can follow it. It is a matter of writing your qualities and meeting them what is required to be a Professional Engineer in Australia. It will ask you to write three narratives (may be any troubleshooting activity, any study project or any on the job planning and execution of a project) about 1000 to 1500 words each. You can start with writing your final year engineering project and then in the summary (which will be there in the booklet) you should mention which professional quality is mentioned in which paragraph of your narratives. You can mention your certifications and anything of professional interest. You also need to include your CV. Make sure your CV tallies what you have written about yourself. It is not a difficult thing to do but it definitely needs a bit of writeup though. Regards, newone
  22. Congrats AMZ AHC Islamabad has picked up the pace by the look of it. Best of luck for the future SIS. newone
