Hi, I'm also a computing prof NEC! I asked my agent if I can be re-assessed and then send the new details to the existing application and they said NO! They said if you get re-assessed by the ACS you must re-apply with DIAC. So my question to you is how is this possible?

I applied in July 2009 online through an agent, so I guess I will still have to wait some time. Good luck guys you're all in my prayers, I hope you all get that ALL ILLUSIVE VISA SOOONNNN.....

Hi Racoon, The question is, do we have a choice? Unfortunately we can't force DIAC to process us. I for one cannot afford to re-apply under EOI as I have a small family and my wife is not working as she is staying home to look after our son. For me right now the only option is to wait and hope for the best! So I if you cannot wait then I guess going through the process all over again seems to be the only alternative. I hope and pray that the suggested time for picking up the 175's is wrong. Bulldog has been right on many things and I fear he is right here too. Who knows we may yet be surprised! WISHFUL THINKING ......

Oh ok at least some progress! Can you give me the link to that site?

Hi Racoon, Yeah it's quite disappointing I hear you I'm in the same boat, although I applied in July 2009. What must be said though is that the Timeline table does not truly reflect where DIAC are with processing, for Priority group 5 Subclass 175's that is. I know of someone who applied back on the 23 June 2008 and was allocated a CO and was given PR. Question now is are they any further than that? The answer to that question is anybody's guess. As we all know DIAC is not very forthcoming!!! Here's hoping that DIAC finally clears all the G5 backlog and all of us get that all illusive VISA. Good luck to all!!!!!!

Hi Parissa, I also have that link on mine and also get the "your request cannot be processed at this time, please try again later" message when I click on the link. I don't think it means anything, it's just a new and improved eMedical system from DIAC as Racoon says. I contacted my agent and they say that I should not be concerned about it and that I should still wait to be contacted but a CO.

No news parrissa! Seem 175's have been forgotten about. No movement since last year December!!!! at this rate who knows if we'll even be processed. ​Good luck!

Oh I see, you may have been a Priority group 2 or 3 hence would've been processed around that time. That would explain it ​ Thanks and keep well

Hey there Team Edwards, That's strange! The allocation table still only shows that DIAC still busy with 21 May 2008 for 175's. How is it possible that a 175 G5'er from July 2008 has got their application approved in January 2011?
