  1. Hi, I'm also moving to Melbourne later this year, similar field. I used the database of registered recruitment agents from Live In Victoria website http://www.membershipcentre.rcsa.com.au/RCSAWebGen/Company_Listing.aspx I just want to have an idea if these agencies work. I'm overseas right now, so not sure if it will be as effective, or not at all. What about you, have you had any luck so far?
  2. certification can be done by any law firm. I think there is a list on the immigration website. I got all my documents certified by a local law firm.
  3. Sorry for hijacking this thread.. but am I the only one who applied in Jan and is still waiting for a grant?
  4. I applied for my 190 on 9 Jan and submitted my meds on 6 March. Still awaiting for a reply. Any reply. So don't worry about yours. If they have any issue, they will inform you. Will not reject your visa straight away; worst case scenario, they give you option to withdraw.
  5. You're welcome AmberPK. I don't think it will be an issue. The only security clearance you would need (I guess) would be police clearance. The CO will ask for that as one of the last things. You might be out of Doha by that time. Plus, PCC is only required for countries where you have stayed for a year or longer. So I guess you can go ahead and start our application.
  6. Hi Amber, I also did my 190 visa while living in a different country than my homeland. However, I have lived here all my life, so it was easy for me to arrange for all documents required - educational, work-related etc. It doesn't really effect your process. Your documents can be certified in the country where you're residing, regardless of your country of origin. Just make sure that you have all required documents when you start the process, or you can arrange it easily. All the best!
