Oh finally u called, did u talked in eng or urdu, they (CO) r desi right? If they are sending ur application now for security check then mate add 12 months more to it. The good thing is atleast they have or will send it now.

Maybe SCO is delaying it for no good reason, maybe he/she wants ur security check after all. So confusing, poor u, hope they keep it simple for us.

Aqsa, they shouldn't be doing security check after saying ur visa is granted. Didn't they said that?

Aqsa, why r they holding ur passport for over a month. They Shud only ask for passport when to put the visa label.

Only 3 months to ur appl no need to complain now I guess. 7-9 months is avg.

Shud be done by a lady doc, it's a body checkup don't know the reason why they do it or what they check

My wife went for medical yesterday, iom karachi. Everything including xray happens at one place, that's good. I remember my days, we had to go agha khan for xray.

That's weird, they took aqsa passport too but haven't given grant letter. Maybe u shudder ask for grant letter. Just my opinion.

Did u try to go to Australian immigration office. There is one at Parramatta not sure at city. They might give u a good advice too

Ahc says decision will be taken based on info provided by 28 days which looks quite hard. Think u shud goto Australian immigration office and explain them the situation. They will be the best people to guide.

Hello Simon, it takes between 1 to 2 months depending on country ur applying from. Usually for female appl it's that time. For male its tiringly slow maybe 1 year plus for high risk country

Maybe u could have bargained more if u were male . Anyhow wat matters is to get it quick whichever means which u were successful 5mins is very quick.

i think u should be able to get it done by anyone, the biggest hurdle is cnic made.

That seems to be catch 22 I guess, moment they know ur in Australia they ask for something for which u might have to return back. Maybe call or goto Pakistan embassy first thing tomorrow morning. If they can't then try calling ur co and also left email asking if they can accept anything else coz u need to physically go to Pakistan to get it done. If not then last n worst option is to return n get it done, cynic might take a week plus frc a week, maybe ask them to give all in a week's time. There is one other option ie goto nearest Australian immigration office and explain them the case and see what they say about it.
