Oh an Chris my girls were born before automatic pr came into effect! he has no pr, so we were wondering if my new partner could apply for it on the grounds of abandonment or something?? xx

Hey Chris no worries i completely understand why your upset, as i feel the same towards fathers who abandon they're kids, pay no maintenance and yet go on get married have more!! lol. But hey ho as you said they're not gonna be kids forever! I spoke with a solicitor yesterday and he's advised me to just hangfire an see what they ask for when we apply for our visa's. As obtaining a court order can be costly to us, an its money we just don't have. :arghh:

Hi Chris I'm really sorry to hear this, i cant bear it when women use they're children as little weapons, i can assure you this is not the case in my situation i'd love nothing more than my girls to have a relationship with their father but he simply isn't interested and hasn't acknowledged them for the last 7 yrs they're now 11 an 14. I simply need to know where we stand if he suddenly decides he wants to take responsibility for his children! I really hope you get things sorted with your ex, its not fair that kids should be stuck in the middle! Not all women are the same either hun. xx

Thank you, they were both born before 2003 and we were not married so he has no parental responsibility. I'm just worried in case he gets wind of our plans through his family and decides to delay us! xxx

Hi freesia, Calgary an Ruppert yes his current job is on the list but he's only been doin this job since April 12 now previous to system analyst he was an underwriter which is no longer on the list! ;-((. I'm tryin to gather as much info and afvice as I possibly can on what out best options would be. We've never been to oz an are just takin a chance! If it doesn't work out then I'll come home but least in yrs to come I can say we tried! ;-)). If its meant to be it will be hey! If we can't get in through my oh then i'll have to go to uni an do my nursing here I was hopin to do it in oz when the babies are a bit older. But I'd like to get there as soon as possible for the kids sakes really. Xxx

Hiya me my partner an 4 kids were hopin to move to Queensland next year on pr visa I'm a full time mum an he's a system test analyst for a well known insurance company. He's been in his current job since April but has worked for company for 10yrs as an underwriter. We registered with an agent who's advised us as it stands now we wouldn't get in oz unless we were sponsored by a company out there! What is the best way to go about this I have no idea an I'm desperate to start a new life out there before my teenage daughter gets too old!! Please help. Thanks. Xxx
