Hi Raul, Thank you for your detailed reply. Appreciate your help. I don't have section 48 applied on my refusal so I guess I can apply for 187. One last question, what happens in the following scenerio: I apply for 187 visa, its under processing by immigration. My MRT is refused during the processing of my 187. Will I have to leave country in 28 days? Or am I allowed to stay and wait in Australia for my 187 visa application decision?

Thank you Blossom, Really appreciate your help. Are you notified by immigration department that you need to leave Aus as we are going to notify you about your application? How do you know that you need to leave Aus?

Can One apply for 187 while onshore while his MRT appeal is pending? Or you can't apply for any onshore visa if you are on bridging?

Hi Blossom, Thank you for your reply. For scenerio 1,2: My 487 is uner MRT review. I am on bridging visa at the monent. So, what happens in these 2 scenerios now? Also, I don't want to pay more than once but my question was more about how many 187 visas applicants a business could sponsor at one time?

Hello respected members, I have few very simple questions regarding RSMS/187 Visa. I am sure someone would be able to help me in this regard. 1) Scenario 1: You are in Australia and are thinking of applying for this visa. Do you have to leave Aus, apply from outside Australia and wait for your approval outside Aus. If you are granted 187, you can then come to Aus. I am sure that's not the case but want to make sure I am right. 2) Scenario 2: You are in Australia and your 187 visa has been approved. Are you required to leave Aus and come back for some sort of registration as people are asked when they get their PR visa (in some visa categories I guess)? 3) Question 3: How many 187 visa a business could apply for at one time? I think a business can apply for three 457 visas at one time. Thank you,

Hi Micky Mac, This restriction is only for your hand carry. You can't carry any liquid in your hand carry . But you can carry any liquid including perfumes in your luggage.

Yesterday, I received my passport with VISA Stamp on it. Entry date should not be after Nov, 2013....so plenty of time for me... Interesting thing to note on the grant letter was that Visa Grant Date was just a day after my medical was done. So, it was fast. Thank You AHC for speedy processing... Five and a half months from start to end.... I am glad that I had a very smooth journey. Thanks everyone on this forum. :notworthy: I pray for early visa grants for all those who are in the waiting queue. Allah Hafiz

I think it goes like this: AHC tries your cell number first, if it gets through, you will receive a call from them. If not, an email is sent. Also, it can also happen that different CO's use different methods of communication. It might be just a method of preference for them. Some CO's would like to track everything they do on a case so they would use Email. Others might prefer direct call to an applicant.

That can happen, you must have submitted a PCC earlier to AHC? Didn't you? I was asked to send additional docs and PCC, I sent them an email that I have already sent you these docs.... also applied for a fresh PCC.... When I was about to send them new PCC.... I received a call from AHC that visa is granted....they must have checked my email and confirmed that PCC was submitted by me. Anyways, all is well that ends well.... .So, Congrats to you again...

Good to know that. Is your husband in Australia? I am not aware of any US banks in Australia. When you would go to Aus, you would hear two names when you would use the term bank....1st is ANZ and second is Common Wealth Bank. I don't do anything specific. Completed my Masters degree few months back.

He is a Software Engineer in a very highly reputed organization in Aus. So, he does pay a big amount in Tax. So, in those countries a tax payer is well respected and is honoured when it comes to things like sponsorship etc.

Hi, External checks are outside the domain of AHC or Aus agencies. No one can give you a timeline for its completion. Hopefully, you will get it done soon.

I don't have kids but I submitted my husband's AFP to AHC along with all my documents. My husband got his skilled immigration in 6 months time from Pakistan; the first email he received from Embassy was Grant of Immigration. My Visa is granted in 5 months time. The first call I received was of Visa Grant. There are couple of things that we did. Submit everything in the first place before Embassy asks you for it. Any document that can help your case was submitted from husband's bank statements to Payslips, Tax returns to employment letter, PCC to AFP, Urdu Nikkah nama to English Nikkah Nama, proof of relationship docs, pics, skype logs, viber call history, photos, my phone calls history, my husband's phone call logs, Form 80, form 888, Wedding movie etc etc etc.... The list goes on and on..... We knew that additional documents won't harm our cause. Secondly, we knew we need to be patient. I know AHC guys are not dumb. They have a system in place. So, if you have provided everything to them, just sit back and relax. .......And in the end, we got our Visa just as we expected. I already told everyone on this forum that my Visa journey would be very smooth. You may call it self-praising or even bragging but I won't worry about it. Hi Adnanm, AHC sent me 2 emails earlier this month. 1 generic email asking for further documents and 2nd to undergo medicals. For the 1st one, I sent a detailed email to my CO that I have already submitted all docs that were requested and requested to check my file. In the same email, I also told my CO that as per her advice, I will submit all the requested docs again. I didn't want to go into a debate with my CO about what happened to my docs that I submitted earlier. I decided to make better use of my time by arranging all docs again including PCC, MRC, FRC etc. I went under my medicals last week and was about to send all the requested docs in a day or so but there came the final twist in the story.... Thanks to my CO, who might looked into my email and might have crossed checked that all the docs were already submitted by me. As a result, a VISA grant was issued. Yesterday, I received a call from AHC to submit my passport for visa sticker.

Just got a call from Embassy..... ***********VISA Granted********* In 5 Months..... 12 days..... from start to end..... Only in 7 days after Medical ............ what a smooth journey it was..... I am really grate full to Allah................ Australia.... Here I come.....

That's great news, congrats. By the way, FRC does have your date of birth on it and FRC is also issued by NADRA. Same goes for your passport. They are asking for NADRA's birth certificate as if NADRA would look into some different database to generate that certificate. No man, NADRA has a centralized database. If FRC is showing 'aa/bb/cc' as your date of birth then it means NADRA's birth certificate will also show the same date. And every document generated by NADRA will have the same date of birth on it. I think AHC should better make use of FRC document. It provides alot of information apart from your family details. Anyways, I hope AHC will come of age very soon. :-)
