Application still under assessment and i have submitted a notification in changes of circumstances form, asking now for a 6 months visa instead of 3. Would visa appliants now need medicals? Its nearly 2 months and the application probably does not even have a CO? Anyone on my shoes.....?

Hey Guys, What is the current timeline for parents visa (sponsored) 600? I have been living in Oz for about 8 years now. I just wanted to bring my parents for 3 months holiday/family visit. I have a child who is turning 4 on May this year. Dad is over 70 and mom is 60+. Me, my wife and my child are all Australian citizens and financially we are well to do. So, sponsorship should be no problem (at least that's what i think.. lol).... Originally, am from south-east asia... Nepalese to be precise. Anyone from that region would want to share their experience....it's close to 1 month already from the date of application and i have no idea what's going on with DIBP..? Could anyone shed some light please..

I got the letter at the 1st week of june.............!!! good luck to you as well...........i want to apply for the passports before the prices for em go up....! I heard we have a new P series passport that replaces the N and M series.............!! Enhanced security features and Updated.................!!

Yes, i got a date allocated...it's on 16th July 2014 at Willoughby city council Chatswood.....i got my approval Feb 2014, so 5 months from the date of approval i guess......!! have you also got a date .....?

Guys, Does anyone know how to get to Kawasaki from Tokyo Narita International airport. I have a kid under 2 year old and don't want to change buses and trains if possible. I tried looking for Limousine bus from the airport to Kawasaki but no luck. Can anyone suggest what is the best and the easiest route?

Dear Kimsdu, Thank you for your info. I actually am neither a British citizen or Australian Citizen. I reside permanently in Australia and the passport i hold must get a visa before departure. Would i still be able to use a travel agent or must i do it in person? What docs do they generally need apart from the regular ones listed in their website...! Would they accept credit card funds? how much would i need in cash for 2 adults and an infant for a stay of 1 week. I also have my sister and brother in law working in Japan and i will be staying with them, so no HOTEL COSTS. My bro-in law will be sending me the letter of guarantee.

Hey guys, back to this forum again and feels great.........! I am planning for a week's holiday to Tokyo in April. I require a tourist visa to enter Japan and am prepared to get one. How easy or difficult would it be to acquire a Tourist visa for a family of 3 to Japan for a Australian permanent resident? Has anyone been in my shoes before? How much cash would they need to see in the bank? Do they accept credit card (funds available) balance? Do they generally interview you or is it just the docs they need to see? I tried calling the consulate's office in Sydney and the person i spoke to wasn't that helpful. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Medicals for my Family was sent thru DHL and received by them on 22nd November (paper based), i too want to know what date they are currently processing and if it was referred or not............! can anyone shed some light on this please..

HI guys, I have applied for ENS 121 visa and i have taken my medicals on 15th November 2011 thru medibank, my family took it overseas (global health). How can i know, if my medicals have been finalised or is being processed or referred..........I am just sitting out here worrying, what could be happening. I can't even check online....can I? Is there anyway i can find out the status of my medicals....we are all in perfect health, but it's just the worry for not being able to know, what could be happening? Any help is appreciated.

They just rip you off.. careful....they'll issue if they want and if they don't, despite you meet up all the requirements they will refuse you........!</p></p>
