There seems to be a huge range of PGCEs out there. I think there is a difference between those that are based in schools with some time in University, and those that are based in Universities that spend time in schools. A very subtle difference, and the only thing I could suggest is clarification from the University. One I have read about on another forum is a SCITT qualification (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) that was awarded a PGCE but was rejected by AITSL. Good luck and all the best
