Does anyone know whether invitations will be sent out monday even though it's bank holiday labour day? Or will it be on Tuesday instead?

Captain C!!! by the looks of it, I've been putting the start date as when the certifiate was issued (july 10th) and it gives me the extra 10 points

Am I right in thinking that, i should put the start date as when I submitted for the process of Vetassess and end date as Issue date (july 10th)

That's the thing, I've got level 4 AQF in commercial cookery, but I've gain this via vetassess, I haven't got the equalivant in the UK, my ten year competency as a chef and the assessment is what's got me this qual. Am I not going to be able to gain the ten points?

hmmm, but when i add a Qual (vetassess) it doesnt show 10 points at the end summary

after - skills assesment page, it goes to English test results.... then this one

yeah, included all the relevant info, assessment Authrity etc

I cant see that question ?

Vetassess - 10 points ??

I've deleted all my employment history to see if it was that, but it isnt

I should be on 15 for employments, but it looks like it will be 10 instead, over last 10 years

I know its been mentioned and answered in previous threads, but when I'm trying to submit my EOI, i can't seem to gain 10 points for my Chefing vetassess Skills Assessment? I wonder what i'm doing wrong...?

it depends tiaishia, I said the same thing to my friend, but shes doing accounting and a GT 7.0 isnt sufficient enough and must be an academic one

Failed my Ielts couple of weeks ago, did a resit on Saturday. Did a PTE-A exam today and I got all above 65!! woooohooo Same day results. Although I didn't like the test, I got the result!! huge weight off my shoulders

waiting weeks isn't good enough for me, I have days to spare between deadlines and i'm already in Australia if you'd not previously read my reply

I got my results back friday too, 8.5 speaking, 8 listening, 7.5 writing (which was the one i was worried about) and a 5 in reading! A 5!!! omg i must have messed up the answer sheet big style.

I have just booked 2 English tests back to back, a pearson one and another Ielts! I'm going to revise big time as they're both in 2 weeks.

I did a few listening practice exams before I did the real one, I think that helped me out, because you can clearly see the structure of section parts. easy to hard. Defo give them ago!

my HWV runs out in 2 months and I defo need to get all 7's or equivalent otherwise i i'm screwed

Just received my ielts results (friday) My god i've messed up, all 8's and 8.5 except for my reading... 5!! i've seriously messed up the answer sheet when i've transferred them across.... or i can't read...

Anyways, Time is running short as my HWV runs out in 2 months, I've booked another english test but I could really do with submitting that EOI

this is the question... and i know its dodgy.

Can i or can i not, input random english test results submit the EOI, maybe receive a invitation soon, then correct them 'IF' i get the results... or is there a middle part I've overlooked during the EOI submission.

Thanks for the replies! the reason why i want to do it now Nemesis & Bungo is because I'm already in australia and my HVW ends soon I already have a ticket booked home, and i will need to jump on a bridging visa B in order to leave the country and come back and continue the job I'm currently in. So every day counts in my eyes. I'm fed up of incompetent companies such as vetassess who you pay thousands to, delay the process because of stupid things like "we need a hard copy of your first aid certificate" nor do they email me or make a phone call to tell me this. Neither did they tell me when my assessment was, no email no phone call no letters, but they rang me up on the day and asked if i was lost.... (no i'm at work and no, vetassess didn't tell me) why not look ahead... send off for police reports... do the medicals... your only slowing yourself down. imagine waiting for a police report to be sent from the UK, because thats all you need.... I'm sure Royal Mail won't let you down *Cough*

I'm doing everything possible in order for me say "did i do everything I could?' hopefully yes, whether I get the visa in time or not.

Who really wants to go back to England and wait in the freezing cold, miserable country, waiting for a visa to be granted. I don't know about you, but I definitely don't!

wondering if anyone knows if i can do my medical before I submit my EOI

I'm on borrowed time at the moment, everything is pretty much done in regards to submitting an EOI, just waiting on my Ielt Results (a week tomorrow) (lets hope I pass ) so i can lodge an EOI

I'm a little bit unsure at the moment, any advice would be much appreciated, just trying to prevent any delays

To my understanding, Vetassess are basically saying 'they' will determine whether the BR qualification meets the Oz Qual, (of the Bachelor degree or higher) Meaning if they don't think it is, they won't pass your assessment.

Might be worth looking at the 'nominated occupation' then see what qualifcations that occupation needs, then look for one in brasil which is the same.

Does any of your family live in Italy by any chance ?

I found my Vetassess allocated agent pretty annoying. I always had to chase her up, I even received a phone call whilst I was at work, asking me if i was lost... I said why? 'You should be here doing your interview'.... no one told me, no phone call, 100% no emails. My Vetasess allocated agent forgot to send me the email with the Exam date or a letter, I asked her, why she couldn't have given me a phone call..

Anyways, I too had completed the technical interview and they was waiting for my First Aid Cert. I sent a digital copy... I had no reply or letter for result, I let 10 working days pass and rang up to find out where it was.... Oh she said, you haven't sent a hard copy of your first aid. Am like are you joking? you've kept my results waiting and if hadnt have rang up to find out, I would have been waiting and waiting

I got straight onto CBD first aid, please send me one direct to vetassess and one to my house. I emailed them to tell me as soon as they received my First Aid Cert to let me know, other wise i'll be sending mine (second one) straight down.

Of course no notification

I rang them up a few days later asking if theyd received my First Aid Cert, oh yes, we have it here... omg :0 .... Ok whats my result? 'sorry i cant tell you' 'but you can check online'

I went straight online and it said next to my outcome 'Successful'

then waited another week for the cert to turn up.

Its so confusing! you read something more than twice and it gets worse

I've uploaded a few images, on my Vetassess Results letter it says

"VETASSESS has been contracted by Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) to conduct skills assessments in certain countries on its behalf. As VETASSESS has been contracted by TRA for the purposes of conducting skills assessments on TRA's behalf, that assessment will be considered as assessment by TRA for the purposes of the Migration Regulations 1994"

Which now brings me to this:

Do I just select TRA when submitting the EOI? or do i now need to go to TRA to get the Vetassess Cert transferred over to them.

Azh: has your Agent said anything to do this or not?

Hi guys

My head is really mashed at the moment. I've just gone to submit an EOI for a 189 Visa. When selecting Chef and then Vetassess for the assessment body, it says 'the nominated occupation is not associated with the assessing authority'

Have I just wasted my last 5 months being assessed (cert IV commercial cookery) by the wrong people?

If any one could shed me some light, I'd be so appreciative, I'm currently eyeing up a bottle of gin on the top shelf
