  1. I think the Cadbury's chocolate here in Ireland is nicer than the English version, - sooo much creamier, it melts in the mouth... yum. I tell you what chocolate is awful - they have been selling chocolate here... with bits of cheese and onion crisps in it.... So wrong!
  2. Nice one wrussell, that's the best advice and the wisest thing to do in that situation.
  3. Hi Zeinasoft! Google 'meeting the visa health requirements' and, 'instructions for panel doctors' on the DIAC website and you'll see that it is medical problems that cause a threat to the public such as TB and those that will cost the tax payers a lot of money in needing long hospital treatment n community services etc that Global Health have issues with. If your son is 'able to undertake activities of daily living' (taken from a list of what panel doctors have to look for during the medical) and is independent he should be fine! You could take a letter from your GP or physio stating the above to the medical. Hope this helps. Good luck! xx

  7. Hi Pete, I haven't been on here for a while - so sorry to hear your documents were lost on the system - that's shocking!! Did you have to upload your meds again or did they turn up? Fingers crossed for you, let us know how you're getting on xx
  8.:hug: Oh hon, sending big hugs - really hope you hear soon, surely you must be next, fingers crossed for you xx I have some good news - after enquiring how our referrals were doing I got a reply from Health Strategies saying me n my lad passed the meds.. - Yay..!! - but we passed 5 weeks ago and nobody informed us! Our migration agent insists we have to be sent a paper copy of the results to apply for the 186 visa.. but Health strategies insists they don't send paper copies out..!! Argh! Anyway - I shouldnt be moaning sorry guys. GOOD LUCK to all those still waiting for your visas, hope you hear v v soon. Thanks for helping me keep sane at such a mad time - you've been a fab bunch of guys to hang around and wait with on here  xx

  11. Hi Emma, How fustrating for you, I'm sorry to hear that your daughter is referred with no health problems. I just don't get why GH do this and create more work for MOC, it just doesn't make sense. As vcosta said in a previous post some get lucky and their referrals get passed quickly - you could be lucky, fingers crossed for you. Plus I think the MOC are getting through the cases quicker now so hopefully that will speed things up for everyone. Barnsey - I think MOC are looking at referrals from the first few weeks of Jan
  12. YAY Danuty2002, that's fabulous news - many congratulations!!! Your long wait is over - have fun celebrating and all the very best for your life in Oz!! EngMario - surely you must be next, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Have a good weekend guys.... as you say Pete - fingers crossed for lots of good news for us all next week :arghh:
  13. Hi Kathy, I wish I could tell you how MOC work, we are totally kept in the dark  Our meds were 30th Nov '12 and referred end of Jan. As there could be a possibility I or my son may fail the meds (we both have medical conditions) I'm totally frazzled being on tenterhooks (is that how you spell it?!) for 5 looong months... Hope we all get some good news soon - its been a very quiet week so hope next week is choccablock with passes and grants! Good luck everyone! xx
  14. Oh Kaz I'm DELIGHTED for you!!!! Fabulous news after waiting soooo long!! Enjoy your champers and all the very best for your new life in Oz xxxx
