Just to cheer you up mate PCC is valid for One year. DIAC and AHC treat its validity for an year regardless of what is written on it.

Guys any idea to get a passport submission call from AHC after submitting the additional docs and get done with medicals?

once KA has completed assessment of application she forwards the file to senior case officer who in turn grant the visa...judging from the grant letter i got the senior CO are in immi dept in Aus...once they approve/grant visa you will get request for ur passport

yep from the looks of it sydney and melb seem to have a much larger paki community then perth

simee u would write or u wrote during ur process?? did u kept calling ahc and reminding them or u jsut sat quite or waited? simee r u sure pcc is valid for a year? i made my pcc with my father,s name in march, but fr FRC i changed status on my id card, marital status, so do i need to make new PCC with hubby? or with father is also valid?

Yes i wud write myself and politely enquire abt progress of case...didnt get any reply mind you nopes i called just once to ask when i wud be requested for medical.

As for pcc ud have to write to immi and ask or call AHC i have no clue abt tht so dont want to misguide you

Yes the date pcc was made i had sent mine with application and yes they do want a valid pcc before issuing visa...so get one made as soon as possible and send it to karima otherwise they will delay ur application again

Nopes i got email 2 weeks ago askng for passport....they dont mention if they are giving visa or not......it came in the postmail today with grant letter and label.

i would suggest u NOT to trust any other guy, just send them all documents by tcs or ocs, i talked to karima and she said me to print out all documents and send her through tcs, i talked to her last week on thursday!! so please i did the mistake, i sent them documents aftr 28 days, and i dun know how much time will they take more, i sent them all documents thru tcs aftr 28 days, i guess my case is really messed up now:( but u dun so the same mistake again, they did the same to me and said them to mail documents, even they said that all documents hav been transfrd to my CO, terrible"" u cant trust them,, jsut mail them documents all hard copies

I agree with Mickey....send hardcopies...dont give them any excuse to delay case further coz its the applicant who suffers in the end not them

guys please mention wht further documents were asked for and submitted in the sheet instead of just the date.
