"Currently, your visa application is undergoing departmental checks." Am I the only person who hates this line? Btw, DOL 5th Apr 2016, wife interviewed on 25th Oct 2016, further docs requested 22nd Dec 2016 (Wedding Pictures and Sponsor form).

Its sad to review the forum, i was hoping to review some visa news here..Lets hope for the best the fellow forum members, i hope we will have few grants this week..atleast 3 or 4..

Good news members, My wife has received an Interview call today. DOL 5th April 2016. Finally its done, i would like to share the details for our members which are eagerly waiting for the interview call.. Call duration last for 11 to 12 minutes. Main questions asked were: Name and DOB Why did she considered me? Our Nikkah date? wedding date (scheduled) Wedding hall name? Future plans? Bank Name (where we have maintained our joint account) Husband address and who lives with him His Job? Who is supporting you (wife) at present? Any family member living in Australia (both Me and her) what are the modes of communication? what will be your future move, if you move? Lastly, during the interview, he requested for wedding hall receipt (if we have). And interviewer informed that we don't have any further questions and we don't need any additional document, we will contact you if we need any additional information. I have just uploaded all the receipts (the updates since our case lodged) [mainly including wedding hall booking, bridal dress booking, joint account statement, birthday presents, invoices paids etc) I am really impressed by the calculations of our members, following the timelines i was hoping the interview call will be after 26th and 27th October. Its right on time, now fingers crossed as per timelines now we have to wait for additional expected 50 days i.e. between our Mehndi and Wedding reception day (14th and 16th Dec). I hope it gives a bit of motivation to other members for their upcoming interviews. Lastly, Thank you forum members for the support and kind words during this time. Cheers

Thanks for advice mate, You and Usman are absolutely right. But Unfortunately this is what it is. However, I will keep uploading as i got progress i.e. providing them our updated joint bank account with more flows in it, gifts, wedding invitation cards and most importantly wedding reception pictures. Oh and one last thing, I have this relationship since early 2010 and i have already provided them the huge amount of email, chat, watsup, facebook logs as supporting documents. Once again, thank you for pointing out the grey area. At least i will be actively keeping an eye on updates.. Appreciated.

Hi All, Please note my timeline as well for tracking..Case lodged on 5th April 2016, documents request email 6th April 2016, Sponsor is in Australia, Partner is in Pakistan, all documents including PCC and medical uploaded on 18th April 2016. Considering the comments on this forum i am expecting interview call in December 2016, I had my nikkah in December 2015 and now wedding reception (rukhsati and valima) is scheduled in December 2016. Can anyone please share the excel tracker of this forum, are we maintaining any tracker here for partner visa? Regards
