Hey, My boyfriend and I have just recently moved to Sydney from the UK (Manchester/Leeds) and I'm looking to meet some lovely people. We've been lucky in that we've made friends with a couple who already have an established social group here, but we've been here for a few months now and I'd like to make a few friends of my own. Hey Alexd, My boyfriend and I have also just recently moved to Sydney from Manchester - where have you decided on living? We're living in Newtown at the moment and absolutely love it. There are loads of cute little bars, cafes, restaurants and it has a very laid back feel about it. Even if you don't live here I'd recommend paying it a visit for a bit of a Northern Quarter feel. Surry Hills is also amazing, we originally wanted to live there but the competition for houses was ridiculous so we changed our search area after a few failed house applications. If you ever fancy meeting for a drink, or to meet some people that can show you around let us know! We'd be more than happy to meet you and introduce you to the other northerners we've rounded up while being here :-)
