  1. So you saying thats true regardless of what year (i.e 2012-13) 485 visa was granted ?
  2. Hi all, I have heard this statement a few times that if someone is on 485 visa it is safe to assume that they meet the study requirement therefore they can claim 5 points for it, is this correct ?
  3. No I don't it was just recently submitted (last week), so correcting it doesn't change 'date of effect' ?
  4. I just realized that I have mistyped my ielts Test Report number, would that be an issue ?? I thought of updating the EOI but i was afraid it might change the submission date:dull:
  5. what happens when 485 is about to run out while another one (lets say 189) is being processed?
  6. Well as long as they have reasonable fees and get the job done I think they deserve every single penny then.
  7. I have but couldn't get through, also send an email and got nothing, hence I asked here
  8. What are their fees? Anyone wouldn't mind sharing that?
  9. and they are PR sponsorship visas regardless of the location, right ?
  10. Im on a TR visa at the moment 485, so is there a sponsorship visa for Melbourne ?
  11. Is there A link or a booklet that covers the sponsorship visas?cos when I tried searching for it it takes me to 457 visa I assume this is not the right visa since this opportunity is in Melbourne not regional??
  12. Hi guys, I've finally found an employer who is willing to sponsor me in IT, I wanted to know what are the requirements for this visa, like what does the employer has to do? what do I have to do? I know I have to stay with that company for 2 years but don't know more then that Regarding the salary is there a specific amount he has to pay to meet a criteria set by DIAC? Is sponsorship visa processed any quicker then other visas ? Thank in advance for your help!
  13. thanks for the replies guys, hopefully my occupation will remain in the list otherwise i think im stuffed
  14. so does that mean there is no point for me to apply for systems analyst before July 2013:sad:??
  15. Hi wrussell, Thank you for your help. We filled the application correctly as far as I am concerned and there wasn't due to lack of documentation. One of their documents states this: "Clause 679.224 is a primary criterion to be satisfied at the time of decision. - 6 - Clause 679.224 states that: The applicant satisfies the Minister that the expressed intention to only visit Australia is genuine." To me it seems that sometimes they make decision all randomly with absolutely no evidence of refusal. Simply because they can. I'm willing to pay any amount of money they ask just to assure the immi she will be going back before her visa expires.
  16. she just finished her degree so she doesn't have a job at the moment, and there were no questions regarding places she plans to visit etc. Such an unfair decision.
  17. hey guys, I just wanted to ask a question, a couple of weeks ago my brother who is a citizen of Australia applied for 679 visa for my sister to bring her here as a visitor for a couple of months, now we received an email from the immigration department stating that her visa has been refused and it says "The application was refused because Ms X Y did not satisfy 679.224 of the Migration Regulations 1994 (the Regulations)/the Migration Act 1958 (the Act)"I read all the attachments that came with the email and the main reason appears to be "not a genuine visitor" the form was completed correctly, however i don't understand how the decision was made it seems more like a decision out of the blue very disappointed and frustrated at the moment  Has anyone had such an issue in the past? And how can it be fixed ?? Any help would be highly appreciated.
  18. ye thats what the idiot said " i would of taken the risk and let you go but look at that, and i saw the plane taking off " (i think he just 'tried' to be nice after he himself saw the plane taking off) i thought of goin back today but because its my first time that i've missed a flight and i dont know how it works in this circumstances i thought they going to bring the labeling issue up again
  19. Well, the airline did not do anything at all that's what i mean like not even trying to pick the phone up and make any queries whatsoever they started saying where is your label how can we verify this and that i tried to explain but it was like talking to a wall if you know what i mean. ye that's what i am going to do send my passport of to the immi and get it labeled doesn't seem to be any other solution even though one of the officers said that normally if there is no label there is some sort of a document that is equivalent to the visa label, and i wasn't sure what he meant as I've never heard of such thing.
  20. if i knew that i would of ignored their advice. no the airlines didn't do nothing actually they gave me a ticket to leave but when i was about to get my passport stamped they wouldnt do that and started complaining and asking we want this and that then when i went around printing crap for them there like ohh we would of let you go but your plane just left sooo im dealing with some unreasonable and uneducated idiots.
  21. i visited my country in 2010 back then i had a label so no issues and when i was coming here few weeks ago had no issues getting in but leavin.....airlines cant do nothing with this kinda problems they might be able to help with my tickets since i missed all the flights
  22. dont ask about the country guys stuff like this makes embarrassed of it .
  23. i thought of that but there is no aus embassy in my country
