  1. I found www.bluefingroup.co.uk to be the most competitive for our requirements. Household goods are shipping with Anglo from the UK and I saved about £600 on the price that they had offered. Bluefin covered £34k for £340, based on our personal requirements, so worth checking... good luck (our container left today, hope it doesnt end up like above, but have peace of mind that we're covered)
  2. 1) Year/make/model/mileage/aircon or no aircon Mercedes / C200 CDI Avantgarde Estate / 46,000 miles / Aircon 2) Market value in the UK (be realistic!) £9000 3) Market value in Australia (search via http://www.redbook.com.au and make sure you click right through to the description to get the correct price ranges - if you don't chances are you're looking at the price it was sold at when it was new) $28,800 - $32,200 *NB I havent seen reference to this yet, so wanted to ask the question - I havent owned the car for 12 months yet, bought it in August 2011, so if I'm moving to Oz (Sydney) in April 2012, can I leave the car behind, apply for the import approval and ship it when it's reached the 12 months ownership criteria? Any help appreciated... Jamie
