  1. Firstly i would like to say i can really understand alot of what you are saying. I have been here in sydney for 2 and a half years and have also struggled to make friends. Don't get me wrong i've met alot of nice people but no one i could really call a friend. I've also had lots of spare time during the day which i used to like the idea of until i got here. I've been trying to convince my(aussie) wife to go back without much success. She lived there with me for 3 years then wanted to come home. From what you have said i think it makes sense for your hubby to renew his pr just in case you change your mind when you get back. As someone very nice and sensible on here said to me it's good to have options. Also that way you get the summer here before you go back. Also i know it's hard at times without friends but you are in sydney and it really is a beutiful place. Since i resigned myself to the fact that i an going to be here for at least the next few years i've enjoyed it so much more. Walks around darling harbour,Bondi to bronte, cintenial park.As much as i miss home i realise how lucky i am to be here.By the way i really like the cards you make. Take care:hug:
  2. I must be strange. I'am going back in 2 weeks and can't wait. Looking forward to seeing my friends, family having a pint, going to see my beloved arsenal live. Just being in london again will be good. Going to somerset for a long weekend to should be nice.My best friends had two kids i haven't even met. Following the misses round the shops won't be good but i guess i just tell her to meet me in the pub when shes done. Might be fairly pricey but to see the people i love and miss it's worth every pennie to me. Thats without even mentioning the humor.
