  1. I have just had a quote from Doree Bonner for 411 cubic feet as part of a shared container from Wakefield to Melbourne. This includes the dismantling of items in Wakefield, packing, recording inventory, shipping, delivery and reassembling in Melbourne. The exceptions are Aqis fees at Melbourne and insurance. The price all in was £2050. They said it would take between 8 and 12 weeks. All we have to do is put the kettle on. Daz
  2. Hi Pity They quoted me £999 for the large cube. But I did see a post somewhere else saying that there is a customs fee aswell. About £200. Cheers Daz
  3. A move cube is a box in a trailer, there are 3 sizes which you can hire. Seven Seas is the company you can hire them off. http://www.sevenseasworldwide.com/ Cheers Daz
  4. My wife has the condition and she is the opposite she can't stand the cold. It makes the pain and symptoms much worse. Have you got your medication right as I know it took her over 12 months, she was always swapping and changing her medication and even now some days she still has 'flares'. She feels better in the heat! We've just come back from 3 weeks in Florida where it was warm to the cold snowy UK. Feel free to PM me if you need to and i'll pass it on to my OH.
  5. Hi Guys Has anyone had any experience with unhelpful Case Officers? I have filled all the forms in, jumped through every hoop and paid a fortunate out to press. I have asked my case officer several questions and she has not answered one. No help what so ever! My main issue now is that she is questioning my sons dependency. When we submitted our visa application, my eldest son was 17. He is now 18 and has decided to go to University in the UK and then follow on to OZ later. When we filled the application in he was living at home, still at college, so in my eyes he was dependent. He is now at York UNI and loaned up to the eyeballs which allows him to go and stay in the halls. So theoretically he is currently not dependent at the moment. I really don't know where we stand with the visa because the CO will not tell what I should do in this instance. If he is dependent and now over 18 should he apply for a visa on his own and we take him off our application? Or do we still pursue his dependency and run the risk of having the visa not granted? If we take him off the application could we then sponsor him to get a visa after he finishes UNI? Can anyone shed some light on this dilemma? Cheers Daz
