  1. Thanks alfredv, I am not sure if we have CO yet, the supervisor said it will be with CO this week but god knows .., it only happened because my husband's employer got fed up and demanded some REAL answers , so fingers crossed. I am just so sorry we didn't lodge it DRC :-( too late now i really hope you get some answers soon, can only imagine how stressed you must be, good luck
  2. Thanks BLB, as I said before I am not an expert! How much time do you have? Was your application DRC? Most people on here who had DRC application had decision in few days. I got an email saying that we will have CO this week and that CO will be in touch within 1 week if additional info is needed, so I think they either ask for the extra info or approve it in 1 week , so maybe wait a week and if you hear nothing send very polite email sorry I can't help much good luck and let us know how did you get on
  3. Hi I am not an expert, but from talking to my MA and reading here for few months I think the general advice is not to contact the CO! But if you are in a risk Of running out of time I would send VERY polite email to the CO expressing your concerns.. That's my opinion :-) try not to stress out too much, it can take anything from 1 day to few weeks for CO to make the decision Is there no bridging visa you could go on in the mean time? Your MA should advice you on this
  4. Melbourne hasn`t moved in 11 weeks now!!!talk about frustration  agree that Perth should help them out,its a discrace

  6. Fingers crossed you get some answers! Let us know how you get on
  7. There is no way DRC nomination would take this long, I think you should call DIAC and ask what is the problem with it, and ask MA for a proof that it was lodged at all, my MA always forwards all the emails from DIAC to me
  8. That is tterrible alfredv!! Why is the approval of the nomination taking so long? I think you should ask your MA to lodge the application DRC, so you could have a grant in less than 2 months ,but not sure if you can do that if nomination was non DRC..!if they don't give you straight answers I would consider getting a new agent. Hope you get this sort out quickly I can't imagine to be away from my husband for so long! good luck
  9. Me neither Smwarlock this is exactly what it said : "The application has been placed in to allocation tub and will be with a case officer next" So hopefully it won't be too long now! Have you contacted the immi?
  10. Have you actually lodged your application? I always thought that the clock starts ticking after the application is lodged?
  11. Hi guys, got some good news this morning- husband's employer sent email to our MA ( not a very polite email) and she forwarded it to the DIAC and they emailed back saying that our case was moved ho the "allocation tube" and will be with CO next week!!! geting very excited and SCARED :-)
  12. Hi goldie, unfortunately the updates via email is the only thing we have, Ronak got his PR today and he lodged 04/08 in Melbourne so it is moving, slowly, hopefully they got over the backlog in June (due to the fees increase) and will move faster! I would say at least another 4 weeks..I am 08/09 :-)
  13. Are you from high risk country? Decisions for high risk take longer so try not to panic, I would give it another week and then I would call them
  14. Congratulations Ronak!! Great to know that Melbourne has moved forward even when the updates are still at 01/08!! you had a fast decision as well, enjoy your moment:-) :-)
  15. Hi undertaker I asked my agent to contact them and find out what is the situation , so far no reply even from the agent...did you apply in Melbourne ? They are only processing applications received by 01/08! So I think it could be few for more weeks before we hear anything
  16. Hi I would contact the CO to find out what is the delay and if there is a problem at least you can deal with it, normaly CO makes a decision in about 3 weeks Good luck
  17. What is your nationality? If you are from high risk country the time frame is 7 months, low risk is 5 months

  19. Hi dunken I am not 100% sure but I think for 119 you have to be off shore at the time of lodgement, that's what my agent said when we were discussing our visa options! She said that is the main difference between 119 and 857, you have to be off shore for lodgement and grant .just double check this with an MA New updates should be out tomorrow , so fingers crossed Melbourne has moved forward
