<p>Most of the time the beasties only bite in self defence apart from the crocs and sharks or at least I hope so.</p>

<p>Just got back from a weeks golfing in Spain last night so off to bed for me, night night</p>

<p>2 young people are cheaper to move than a family of 4 or 5 so thats got to go in your favour, you'd be welcome anytime but mind not only is there possibly snakes, spiders and crocs on the golf courses there's one in Brisbane with SHARKS !!! I won't be looking for any lost balls lol</p>

<p>tell him to go to the interview with a positive attitude from what I've seen and spoke to Aussies they seem to appreciate that a lot, yeah I'm a natural pessimist also about important things like this so probably won't get really excited until I land in Aus then go mental lol</p>

<p>here's hoping they struggle to find 70, but they might want different levels of experience, from my experience in recruitment not many companies wanted a mass influx of the same experience, as they tended to all join at the same time and leave the company at the same time</p>

<p>if you had a house to sell you have that to worry about before you leave and the bad exchange rate would mean you wouldn't get much for your money in Oz, swings and roundabouts lol</p>

<p>I'm not selling my house just renting so I'll still have a roof over my head if I come back, and only shipping the essentials over (golf clubs, mountain bike and a couple of boxes) so not too much expense involved</p>

<p>it was a very easy medical tbh the main bits being a blood test and chest x-ray and more of a chat with the doctor, don't worry about second thoughts I get them quite often (family, friends, the unknown, etc) but its an experience and it doesn't have to last for ever, you can always come back ok maybe lose some money going there and back but money is not everything</p>

<p>Good luck with the sponsorship. no real update on mine apart from I've been told I passed the medical just waiting for for Australia to finalise it and then things should move quicker.</p>

<p>I'm good thanks, how are you ? Haven't heard anything for a while regarding visa, starting to get a bit nervous, so sent an e-mail to see how its progressing. Don't want to pester them too much and piss them off !</p>

<p>well I'm hoping to hear something soon as I had my medical 3 weeks ago so Australia Gov should have had it and hopefully let me know, the company offering me the job have appointed their immigration lawyer to put the case together so hopefully it'll start coming together.</p>

<p>she lives nearer my brother than me anyway and I think she generally backs my decision to try for Oz, she had the chance in the 70's and never took it and regrets it a little</p>

<p>My Mums not been well for a while so I've been doubting whether trying to move to Oz is right even though she gives me her blessing for it.</p>

<p>And on a lighter note my under 8's footie team lost both matches on Sat but played the best they have ever done.</p>

<p>A bit of a strange one but good overall, how about one ?</p>
