hi all these places mentioned are very nice, the ferther north you go the cheaper the house prices are, i have visited perth about 5 times so know the areas quite well joondaloop has a lot of expats around that area. they are all witin short drive of city,beaches,shopping malls etc im hoping to emigrate in next few years if i can pass strict and confusing visa rules.gongrats and good luck.

hi buddy sorry for delay i not had much luck. i did find out u need to have a nvq level 3 and been working as a main layer 3 years after that quolification. you then need to get your skills assesed by TRA but when i looked up the description of a gas fitter to no what they would be assesing me on it says about instalation of appliances, i only work from the ECV downstream so have no experiance in this so i thought i would fail the exam. plese let me no how your getting on any info would be appriceated thanks

hi alan thanks for reply i looked through the link you sent me and it turns out the the assesing athority that covers my occupation is TRA i looked through there website and it doesnt acctualy say there is a practical exam do you no anything about this thanks:confused:

hi there i work as a gas main and service layer working downstream of the billing meter.i am thinking about emmigrating to oz on a skilled indapendant visa as a gas fitter.but after looking through the process it says i have to have my skills assesed by vetasses has anybody been through this process as a gas fitter and can give me some info on what the tests involve thanks:eek:

hi all im new to all this so bear with me,me and the misses are realy keen to move to australia preferble perth i am a gas main fitter i looked up the description of this on the skilled list and it says you need to work downstream of the billing metre wich is what i do but then in the tasks it goes on about instaling appliances wich is upstream help please...:arghh:
