  3. Yes it has really, as soon as I got my positive skills assessment back it has been very quick! They even told me to get my application in before the 28th so I didn't have to pay the new charges, yes the EOI was fairly easy apart from I didn't put my education history in so it wasn't counting my points for my skills assessment and also I have been a plumber since I finished school in 2004 but I wasn't allowed to count my 4 year apprenticeship as your experience is only from when your fully qualified Let me know if you need advice on anything! I thought I'd been given a CO but it was WA migration telling me to alter my EOI but they said they need me to get back in touch with them before the 1st July so I can apply before the prices go up! Looks like there trying their best to get people in before the price hike!! I'm hoping to get my CO next week!! Fingers crossed!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

  11. Thanks for advice, can I just ask you another quick question? When i calculated my points I have 70 points but when I have put these into the EOI it says I have only 55 points? It does not seem to be including my qualifications I have had assessed by Vetassess and it also says that I have only 5-8 years experience in my trade which is wrong as I have over 8 years. Could you please help? Cheers Chris Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  12. Hi everyone, Can someone please give me some advice on what to do next, I've just applied for my EOI and I was wondering do I have to wait till this comes back to apply for my state sponsorship or can I do this now as well? Also I know it's the million dollar question but does anyone know what kind of timeframe it'll be from lodging my EOI to the finish line? We're hoping to go as soon as possible and would love to be over their before the end of he year!! Cheers Chris Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  13. Thanks for your help, I've just applied for my EOI as I've just received my documents from Vetassess with my reference number on which I needed to apply, I have 55 points and is it right that WA give you 10 points? Could you advise me what to do now? Do I apply for state sponsorship? Or do I wait till the EOI comes back to apply? My heads a mess!! Haha Thanks again Chris Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  14. Cheers Scott that would be a great help, good luck! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  15. Hi guys I had my Vetassess Practical examination on Thursday in Belfast for Plumbing, I just need a bit of advice as to what I do next for a state sponsored 190 visa, to my knowledge I apply for the EOI and then wait for them to get back to me? What happens then? What do I need to supply them with? How long from the EOI has it been taking for everyone I'm a 25 yr old plumber and my fiancé is a 24 yr old hairdresser Any help would be great! Chris Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  16. Ahh right, yeah we're hoping to get a WA state sponsored visa and also head to Perth, hoping to be across there for November if everything runs smoothly, have you looked for work yet? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  17. Happy days, congrats mate!! Did you go with an agent to sort your EOI out and visa application? What was your timescale from your EOI to your visa being granted? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  18. Hi mate, Just thought I'd drop you a quick message just to say I had my assessment in Belfast yesterday, like you said very easy, didn't even have to do any steel! What's your story now? Are you over in Oz? Cheers for your help again Chris Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  19. Hi there, I'm booked on to do my plumbing Vetassess practical skill assessment in Belfast this month and I was wondering if anyone could give me some information on what happens? For example practical tests, questions etc?? Any help would be great Cheers Chris Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  20. Hi there, I've just received my results for my IELTS test, I got all 9.0's apart from writing 7.5 I'm hoping to apply for a state sponsored 190 visa, are these results good enough or do I need at least 8.0's in each subject?? Cheers Chris Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  21. I got exactly the same as you, all 9's and 7.5 on writing, I'm also going for the 190 state sponsored visa, do you definitely need at least 8's on all of them?? Cheers Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  22. Thanks Kellypeachey, Not the reply I had hoped for, iv already paid the Vetassess few of $600 so does this mean I need to wait till j can fill the TradeSET form out again? I'm worried now because I have 26 days to send all my documents to them and I won't be able to do the TradeSET form again in that time? Chris
  23. Hi guys, iv recently filled out my TradeSET report but after getting everything together to send to Vetassess, iv looked over my report and seen that iv clicked No under a few things which it says are mandatory, I'm a plumber and have been for 8 a half years but I have never done some of the things which it says are mandatory so I clicked No. These were things like cut and put together sheet metal, weld plastic plumbing pipe by melting and joining it, build and set up fire hydrant and hose reel systems etc Is this going to affect my visa or even getting my skills assessed?? Any info would be great Chris
  24. Hi guys, I am currently filling out my Vetassess form online and have just come across the Licensing and/or Registration details, I am a fully qualified Plumbing and Heating Engineer and just wondered what I would put down in this section? Any help will be appreciated Chris Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  25. Cheers Scrumpy, do you know how often they are and is it just one full day doing practical assessments?? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
