Just checked the status of me application, work experiance and specific work experience has now changed to 'met' following their phone calls! Arghhhh.... only meds and police checks required now!

Ahhh... we probably saw you... were you the family with the 2 boys and a girl? We were supposed to be 10.45, but the family before cancelled so we had ours about 9.45... which was great so we could get back to work!

God this waiting room is boring I checked online 5 times last night even though I know my case officer is only gonna look at my app on 30th, but you never know. I'm gonna check every morning this week as well. If nothing happens Mon / Tues next week I'm not gonna be worth knowning I'm on night shift them nights so its gonna be constant checking. Just wanna know now so we can start living. We are looking at christmas items for the kids and saying to them we will see what it costs in Aus cos if its cheaper their, or i'm not getting that cos its to big to ship over.

We are not sure now if we are even gonna ship our stuff or sell it and just take a few tea chests of stuff.

Just want to knoe so we can make plans as the waiting is bugging the life out of me now.

Ahhh.... I bet it's only a few days away now... just keep being patient, you'll have it soon!

Me and hubs are off for our meds at Maidenhead tomorrow! Hope it all goes ok, fingers crossed! :huh:

Who did they call??!! Your boss or human resources??? What did they say?

They called HR who wrote the reference just to verify it, so wanted to know how long I've worked there and my responsiblities... I hope I passed!!!

What documents have you enclosed in the application confirming your work experience?

I only uploaded letters from my employers with employment dates and duties and all my payslips from the last 3 years.

Hi all, i have booked my meds at the Bridge Clinic, Maidenhead for 1st November but the Clinic could not get our information from DIAC with our TRN number? she said it should work have worked? but if it doesn't she'll have to post the Med results instead of E-health them !!!:confused::rolleyes: Has anyone else had this problem? We are an online applicant so don't know whats gone wrong. Typical!:wacko:

No I don't know why. On the status of my visa, everything said met, other than work experience and specific work experience. They just asked to confirm dates and main daily tasks! Luckily they know here I applied for the visa :biggrin: but you're right, if your boss isn't expecting the call it maybe a bit of a shock!:eek:

Arghhh... the Australian embassy in London have just called my work!!!!

Diac never seem to publish their update on the Friday... it always seems to be on the Monday so I think we will be waiting until then!

Can't beleive what a good weeks it's been for evreyone... so happy!!!!!!! :smile:

We sent ours by special delivery so we know they have been delivered but as of yet no confirmation email. I suppose I should be patient but I am after all an Aries!

 

That would be such a pain to have to send again, getting your pic signed again and finding more proof of add etc

I was really worried all our docs have got lost in the post, but if you call them and give them your name and DOB, they can check then and tell you the date they are going to send them back to you! Very helpful! turns out they have mine... but receive 500+ a day so there is a bit of a backlog in registering you unless you go for the premium servivce! Hope that helps... :biggrin:

We sent the police checks on the 28th special delivery (guaranteed next day)

As of yet no email

Hmmm... I sent mine on Friday 14th, and just emailed them to say to ask if they received it... they said they haven't, which is strange as I sent it first class! I think I'm going to have to send again! MAybe you should email them to check they have yours too?

Well I'm glad other April applicants have CO now too!

I have our meds booked for next week, police checks sent off Friday, and Form 80's uploaded!!!! Hopefully they won't ask for more info on my work! Maybe I'll have my visa at some point in November... that would be 6 months after I applied and would make my year :biggrin:

Now we just need to decide when we want to go and where we want to go to! Esp as hubs has never been before! Exciting times!!!!!

I have a question... when you all got CO's... did the status of your docs change to met straight away? It's just my work experience says 'received' rather than met like everything else... does that mean they will be doing job verification?

Wow... CONGRATULATIONS! The visa grants come so quick after CO allocation if you have done your meds and police checks!

I am also getting addicted to this forum and have only been on it a week! eek! Supposed to be at work!
