Hi Jaycris, I just called DIAC today and I was looking for my CO. Unfortunately I was'nt able to talk to her, but the good lady who answered the phone told me that the health requirements of my wife were already finalised last July 2, 2012, but in my application status they were still referred, she told me that, it is normal, sometimes the CO does not update the status.. on the otherhand it made me just think, if our meds were all finalised on July 2, 2012, how come that there is still no decision for our visa until this time?? which leads me to a more confusing situation:arghh: ... I just need to pray more and hope for the best... I suggest you email your CO if you feel that your meds are already taking more time than what is normally usual.. goodluck to all of us...

Global health, health operation centre are all the same,, it is the offices were moc, or medical officers of the commonwealth are.. And yes it is were the further assessments of medicals who had been referred usually go..

Hi Ali, Nobody from here really know wether the meds of your son are on queue like us, I suggest just wait for a little while(like 1wk) and if there are still no changes, send a soft email enquiry to your CO and ask him the status of the meds.. goodluck..

I feel that its raining telephone calls this day in GH,, even getting thro' with them in phone seems like a matter of luck this days...:biggrin: Well i hope sooner or later they can sort things up. And also thats an unusual date, coz ours are referred since May 31 and never been assessed..:frown:

Very informative,, I should have read this before we went for our medical exams... I e-mailed my CO last friday but no response yet...

-include those sleepless nights... And the excitement that turns to frustration whenever you check your application status...:confused:

This is exactly the same answer that I get from them everytime I call now on my 7th week now... But it seems that in this thread nobody still beats my May 31 referred date...:laugh:

Have you tried communicating with your CO or the global health about it?

That is why If we feel something that isn't right about the processing of our medicals, then we can call them up and see what is going on, anyway those who answers the phone in GH are actually not the Doctors but I think their job is to really answers those inquiries to people like us..

You know what i have noticed? The best time in ringing them up is around 2:30-3:00pm Sydney time.. Goodluck Sarah, hope you could contact them and let us here your experience with them..

We are on the same boat... I know exactly what it feels... Its just so frustrating that when ever I call GH for any updates, their answer is always they dont know when it will be assessed..

Did the GH ask you for other supporting docs?

My wife has no medical history, and I think she's healthier than me.. i've also ask GH if there is anything that we might be concerned of, they said the meds looks ok and we have nothing to worry about... And what frustrates us is the fact that you see other people who are being referred much more later than us and just a few days later their case is already finalised..

Guys lets post our medical timelines here so at least we coud somehow monitor what is going on in Global health, and we could have a view on were we stand now... Let me start: Mine: refered - May 30, 2012, finalised: May 31, 2012 daughter : finalised: June 4, 2012 wife: refered : May 31, 2012 : finalised : _______________ not yet as of July 21, 2012

Its actually more than frustrating when CO and Global Health could not even give you an assumption when it would be assessed, thus, make you freeze all your other plans..

Hi guys, Anybody here who are still waiting for the results of their medical assessment from MOC for more than 30 days? Who suffers the same dilemna as me? Mine were refered last May 31, 2012 and until now I still have'nt a clue when Global health will start to get a look at them.. It's quiet frustrating...

Hi Corinne, Congrats.. well its not only you who had or has experienced or is experiencing this problem for meds.. We are still waiting for the meds results of my wife which were referred to MOC last May 31, 2012 and 'till now nobody from the immigration nor the HOC could give us even an idea when we will receive their verdict... and like most people who experience this inconvenience-- all I can say this is actually a torture...

Hi, Congrats first of all... my wife's medicals were refered to MOC last May 31, 2012, until now we are still waiting for the results. I called the HOC for a couple of times but they said the medical is still in queue and I even asked them if there are concern about the health results because if there are, they should inform me right? thro' email.. I also called my CO but unable to speak to her, she just told the phone operator in the immigration she would get back to me as soon as the medical is finalized... Everything is met aside from the Medical that were refered to MOC for more than 1 month now... now I am also confused and worried that something might had happened to the medical results of my wife...:sad:
