  1. Hi swavik, sorry I might not answer your question correctly, coz it's more than 2years since I was on your shoe.., and not so sure about the changes in MOC or DIAC policies, but during my time, If my memory serves me correctly, my CO had e-mailed me my client number and given me procedures to monitor the progress or the status of my application in DIAC website.. I don't know if this still applicable nowadays.. well good luck to all of you aspiring migrants.. & Godspeed!!!
  2. what an experience and adventure!!!!
  3. Hi itskamran i suggest you email your CO and give her a screen shot copy of your application, ask her what else is keeping her in not granting your visa... Goodluck..
  4. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! you are the Man of the DAY!!!!!
  5. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! for reaching the finish line
  6. Hope everything will be well for you and your family.. just keep praying and everything will be ok
  7. CONGRATULATIONS!!!.. THIS CALLS FOR A CELEBRATION:wink:
  8. Nope, no reasons the only thing that they have noted on the initial entry date was it can never be changed... We also thought that our initial entry would be sometime in May 2013 before the expiration of our meds or pcc, but thats my case, hope yours will be as per your expectations, anyways either way make also some other buffer plan just incase the date would not be as you are expecting...
  9. Prepare the champagne, advance congratulations!!!
  10. the validation period for the visa is commonly based either before the expiration date of your medicals (from the day you undergo medical exams) or your PCC ( from your native land). As i've said that is the common practice in the DIAC, but doesnt necessarily mean that they will always follow that, just for example in my case: meds: may 28, 2012 , pcc: may 25, 2012,initial enty : feb. 2, 2013-initial entry date is almost 4months ahead than the expiration of my meds and pcc.. So in my opinion it is still on the discretion of the CO.
  11. Your welcome.. I think you can call GH so you could just more or less know which ground you are standing now. Just prepare your TRN, birthdate and maybe passport number.. Also just a piece of advise in calling the GH, maybe you can also prepare a piece of note on everything you want to ask them so not to miss a thing, remember its quiet difficult in reaching them so it would be wise to make the most out of it... Best of luck
  12. Hi ladyinwaiting, First of all we welcome you in this thread. As per my understanding in your post, if i may assume that you are already been accepted for the job, pending your medicals? If yes then, that maybe a good reason to tell your CO or GH to somehow prioritize the assessment of your health requirments.. Just my thoughts anyway there is no harm in trying. goodluck!!!!
