  1. Hi, Thanks for the advice. Jason
  2. Hi, I emailed TRA who emailed me back in a day. Why not email them and ask if you cant find it on their website. I have emailed and callled a few deartments in DIAC and also State Immi offices and TRA and all have been very helpful. Thanks Jem
  3. Hi Guys, I am a bit confused. I am about to apply for trade recognition for a Telecommunication Cable jointer 342412 the below is from DIAC website "This occupation has a level of skill commensurate with the qualifications and experience outlined below. In Australia: AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)In New Zealand: NZ Register Level 4 qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification. Registration or licensing may be required" It states at least three years of relevant experiance may subsitute for the formal qualifications ect. I have a few relevant qualifications from Scotland ( SVQ and City and Guilds) and trade licence from Australia for this trade which was a week long training and exam in Australia in 2002 but just worried that my qualifications and trade licence dont equate to AQF lll as it states on TRA website that nothing substitues for the formal qualification (although cant find this just now). Anyone have some advice Thanks Jem .

    TRA Process

Hi, I am going to apply for trade recognition and was wondering if they contact your employer. if you send certified documents and wages slips and needed material do they contact your Employer direct. For obvious reasons I don't what this ( tipping them off that I'm thinking of departing) Do they contact anyone in the UK to check. thanks Jem32.
  6. Hi, yip your right. The numbers go up numerical then reset back down and start again. thats what happens when you don't read the full list thanks a lot Jason
  7. Hi, Asked a few questions on here and someone always knows the answer. i am going to applying for trade recognition as a Telecommunication Cable Jointer 342412. its on the Western Australia Skilled Occupation List and states TRA is the governing body to apply to for trade recognition. On the TRA website it has a document which states on paragraph 2.3 that your nominated skill for assessment must be listed in the Skill Occupation List or consolidated Sponsored Occupations Lost. I can can not see this occupation on these lists but it is on a few different territories Skills Occupation List for State Sponsorship. any one any idea what it means. the document link is http://www.tradesrecognitionaustralia.gov.au/Programs/Migration/Pages/Guidelines.aspx thanks in advance Jason
  8. Hi, looking to apply for recognition of sales experience and my degree certified for points needed to apply. Can anyone who has done this give me some tips please. either on sales recognition or getting a degree certified. Thanks Jason
  9. Hi I agree you have to have the both sides of the story and somewhere in the middle you will find your own truth. I have never been offended or upset merely had a good giggle at a comment. Jason
  10. Hi I for one have never been depressed by written words or vocal comments from someone I do not know. Maybe that's why I usually submit posts with a sense of humour ( think that's how you spell it) I know it a serious site with great info but a lot of people take it very serious it's not University Challenge and I don't think you will find Bamber Gascoigne on here either. If you can't laugh at yourself it's because your perfect like me. Jason tubby d
  11. Hi I started to think about this a little deeper and I as a result have researched Skippy the bush Kangaroo and every wweek someone gets hurt . If its not falling down a well it's getting their toes stuck under a twig. If it was not for that Kangaroo the death rate in Australia would go through the roof. So I have had a rethink and anyone willing to put their Children in the face of such danger is irresponsible in my opinion. What if Skippy is not on duty that day or even worse what if it's Skippy that's stuck :chatterbox:down the well at the Billabong and we can't hear him for the windup wireless playing waltzing Matilda whilst hoop snakes whizz by and drop bears drop. I WILL NOT BE LEAVING MY WIFE AND MY CHILD OPEN TO SUCH DANGER:mad: I AM NOT GOING TO AUSTRALIA THANKS FOR THE WARNING I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT. Jason
  12. Hi, Lets see if you hire a van, drive through the tunnel into France cross over into Asia at Turkey no wait cant go near Iran or Syria, right France, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Kazahakstan , China, Laos, Vietnam. Then slip one of the many boat people a few quid head for Australia, Ditch all your stuff at Derby not many people up there should be able to hide it round trip say 4 times just to make sure you have everything. Say 2 years and you would have all your stuff in Derby, Then just do the same in Australia. I think we are starting a new craze here. Jason
  13. Hi What I meant was you have done nothing other than give an insightful breakdown of numbers which could be great information to lot of people. Therefore having ago in my opinion is not warranted. Its not as if you started calling anyone names lol Jason
  14. Hi What people have found hard is having to work 120 hours and still struggle. Of course noone knows your circumstances but under NORMAL circumstances that's just not right and that is what people commented on. You say it was in jest but it really does not look like it and to come back and call people Idiots when he has actually shown intellect through his calculations is not right in my opinion. You don't know his circumstances maybe he has a beautiful mind lol Now can we go back to what this forum is about and not have a virtual bi*** fight. Jason .
  15. Hi Mate I was serious and agreeing with you that in those circumstances it would make a lot of people cry. Jason
  16. Hi I have cried at a lot less mate to be honest. I think the thought of leavin older relatives is a big emotional strain and I am male who would more than likely bubble a bit. But then I once cried at an advert. Jason
  17. Hi I don't think this is a rant about WDU it's more a cynical exaggerated view of Oz. We all know it's just TV, I guess some people do have a total nightmare when immigrating but if that was me there is no way I would be unemployed for that length of time, I would clean toilets or scrape up skippy the road kill anythin just to work. Maybe they just wanted a right good moan as we all do sometimes and it came across a bit silly in my opinion. A little misguided we have all done it. Maybe it was meant to be treated the same as TV NOT TO BE TAKEN TOO SERIOUSLY. Jason
  18. Hi Does that apply to Irish Scot's if so sign me up. I swear I'm a good catholic bhoy and will work really hard. Am I in ????? Jason
  19. Hi, People have to make their own minds up. But come on 120 hours and struggling . Do the Mathis even if only getting $20 ph it works out at 10400 per month not taking into account overtime rates and the fact it is looking at a very low wage. So we are looking at more than $2400 per week and struggling. By the way Pinocchio was a real boy Jason.
  20. Hi People love to I over state things, Melodramatic to say the least. DONT EVER GO THERE IT RAINED ONCE ON A TUESDAY OOH Jason
