  3. The problem is that in my country most transaction are done in cash so there is no paper evidence of whom pays what in particular, thats why i don't know what could be presented as evidence, will a statutory declaration be sufficient in this case?
  4. I know that fact that they'll be in the same boat if she fails the medicals he'll fail too but the point i was asking about is that she wasn't added while filling the EOI and now he'll add her to the application after being invited, so will that be a problem or affect the application ?
  5. No her only income is the pension of her late father which is very small and isn't sufficient.
  6. Also another point i would like to ask about, my brother didn't add her on his EOI, will that be a problem if he added her to the application although this doesn't change his points?
  7. Also another point is that the retirement age in my country is 60 for men and 55 for women, so even if she worked before she would've been retired by now.
  8. She is a housewife so she haven't worked before, she doesn't have assets (the house we live in is rented) and her income is so small as its her late fathers pension so she's dependent on me and my brother.
  9. Hi all, The situation is that I had my PR since November 2013, now my brother is applying for his PR and he'll add our mother as dependent on him, she is 63 years old and we all lived in the same house. The thing is he need to provide "Evidence of dependency" documents and we have no idea what are the documents that we should provide. If anyone has any idea what are the documents that could be used to prove her dependency on my brother please help. Best Regards,
  10. Does anyone understand the new anouncement on the SkillSelect site, i copied the announcement below: Announcement In late 2013, the department conducted an evaluation of occupational ceilings to assess how they have operated to date and to consider changes to ensure they are performing their intended function. Based on feedback received as part of the evaluation, the following changes will be in place from 1 March 2014: State and territory nominated visas will no longer be subject to occupational ceiling limitations The minimum ceiling for each occupational group will be 1000 invitations. As there are still high levels of interest from prospective skilled migrants in the following six occupations, pro rata arrangements for these occupational groups will continue: Chemical and Materials Engineers Electronics Engineers Other Engineering Professionals ICT Business and Systems Analysts Software and Applications Programmers Telecommunications Engineering Professionals. Details of the cut-offs for these occupations will continue to be included in the regular invitation round reports. What do they mean that the minimum ceiling will be 1000 invitation, does that mean that they'll change the existing ceilings for the occupations to be 1000 per occupation or what? Also what about the limit on the regional sponsored (class 489) which was 35 per invitation round then decreased to 25 per round, is this limit cancelled now and the number of invitation is open again or what? Please comment if you have any info or even a speculation of what the update may mean.
  11. I share the same questions, any help will be appretiated.
  12. 15. Hi All, I applied for the visa on October and my medicals were uploaded first of November. Whats the expected time i'll get a CO? my question is how much will the medicals take to be cleared? I just need to know the average timeline.
  16. They don't need the date nor the address on the letter, only the begging "Dear ..." and the ending "Best Regards," and write your name afterwards. Although it might be late but this site is very useful for preparing http://www.ielts-blog.com/ you'll find tips for every part of the test and also recent tests from all over the world. The main advice though is don't be nervous, you're just attending the test to know where you stand and whats your level, its not a battle, if you didn't get the result you want know your where your culprits are and try again.
  17. I'm a network engineer, I applied for GSM 175 visa on July 2009.I was assessed as "Network Engineer" (ASCO code 2231-79).I'm now in category 5 queue but after the new SOL was issued I noticed they added my profession "Computer Network and Systems Engineer" (ANZSCO code 263111).The question is will DIAC automatically move me to category 4 or should I submit a new skills assessment with the ANZSCO code.
  18. you can ask ACCA if they would accept a statutory declaration made by you. you can make it and then ask if the Australian embassy in you country will notarize it for you. and you won't need in this case to tell your boss
  19. Dear Minxey, As far as I know all certified copies of document has no validity period because they are valid as long as the original document is valid, as they are certified as true copies. For instance police checks are valid for 1 year so a certified copy of it is valid as long as the original police check is valid. I hope this info is useful to you and if any other member has any corrections to my data please share them. Regards, Original document are the ones which have validity period, police checks and health checks are valid for one year while IELTS is valid for 2 years.
