Hi, myself and my partner moved to the Redlands area of Brisbane a year and a half ago from South Wales. We are enjoying the aussie lifestyle but are struggling to get a social circle of friends like we had back home. We are both in our mid to late 30's, Im a fitter and my partner is a dental assistant. No children as of yet. We would love to meet up with other couples or families in the area if anyone is interested and become a step closer to making some friends here.:smile: Carl and Amanda

Its all gone quiet again!!!! I rang Davinia middle of last week and left an answer phone message, and no reply as of yet, not suprised at all, usual communications from them it seems. Maybe next week, then again, maybe november will be here before they say anything!!!:err:

I'm a fitter and had my interview on the 6th, new to this and just reading all the posts taking in all thats being said. I've been told my position, if successful would be in geraldton, no choice of esperance. Not sure whether to sellor rent house, car's definately not coming with me, starting to show signs of wear and tear!!
