Hi I am an English nurse currently living in Sydney. My Aussie husband runs a plastering company based in the Northern Beaches but with work all over Sydney. We need several gyprockers to start ASAP. The money is neg depending if subcontracting or hourly rate, own tools, own car etc. He also sponsors several men already so would be interested in people already here but without the visas to stay ( sorry I cant remember the lingo re visa numbers etc) Obviously people with awesome gyprocking experience would be great but if they already have jobs.... We are also happy to work with people who are hard working, reliable and might not have years of experience but keen to learn or do apprenticeships. Send me a PM or get in contact! Establishedplastering company in Sydney’s Northern beaches but with work across the city looking for experienced plasterers to start immediately. Preferably with owncar and tools but can be negotiated for the right person. Proven Gyprocking / Plasteringskills a must *People with experience of cornicing especially welcome! In return for your Gyprock / Plastering skills you will be rewarded withcompetitive rates of pay. Sub-contractors also welcome to call us to discusswork. We have jobs booked in till the middle of next year and need people now and throughout the holiday period.

<p>i was just looking at the reg form and didnt realise that they needed a statment of service from your most recent employer. Have you go this ? Must be hard to get if you havent told them your leaving! Seems pain to get this then have to get reference of them in a month or so etc etc ! Cant belive how hard they make it for us. </p>

<p>hi there just been reading through all the nursing reg posts and think you said that you were uk nurse that was already living in oz when you applied for your reg? sorry for random email like this but im in a similar situation. I moved here about 11 months ago on tourist visa, decided to stay and am waiting for PR ( husband ossie) Finally made such a fuss they have granted me work rights and so goingto apply for my reg. Thing is i am three years post qualfied (one year now in australia not working) and only have a diploma. If this is in anyway similar to your situation and if so was it a problem. Any help /. advice you can give me would be great . ie did you find your own job or go through agent? If i go direct to agent or hospital can i get job before i am registered?</p>

<p>Hi lisa sorry to just send random email like this but just saw a post you made re dipoma of higher education nursing. Is this acceptable to nurse with in OZ ? I have no more university modules since qualifing two years ago ( no money in NHS for further study!) am already here but worried wont be able to get job! Hope to hear back from you </p>
