  1. Thank you Kellyv. As we lodged on the 24th,I was expecting to get this fab news a bit later. All the best for June 2014 applicants! It will happen to you soon x
  2. We've got our direct grant today:rolleyes: I'm a secondary applicant,However I'd love to share with you our(my husband's) timeline. 27/May TRA assessed 20/June IELTS passed L8,R9,W8.5,S9, 20/June EOI applied 20th/June EOI Invited 23/June s189 Lodged with pcc 24th/June Medical 8th/July Direct Grant 3ed/Sep
  3. Hi Everyone,Let me join in this thread too.My husband(British, painting and decorating)I and two children. We have lodged ours on the 24th June in Brisbane.Uploaded all the docs, just waiting for the time to celebrate?!
  4. I understand if TRA says No,But when He send the register form, will write some letter along anyway.Though It's 100% our fault, just can't resist trying.maybe they let us use 2,3months of experience?. So your story is that You did step 1 for jobready, and before you go ahead with step2,your regional employer offered to sponsor you on RSMS,which took you 2years to be granted but didn't need to complete the job ready. It is right? Other thing in our case is,If we couldn't find a regional sponsor but are about to complete job ready step2,3,4.Can we stay on substitute visa e.g Student, tourist to wait for job ready completion and apply for EOI? Sorry for many questions...
  5. I know it was all our fault didn't read/understand job ready manual.Because He has actually done more than 12months of work and We've no other way of staying here if He can't find a regional sponsor,He will still try to do job ready program. At the same time thinking of writing a letter to TRA to plead that if there is any chance He can use his previous work history. We're here with kids trying to get PR.Couldn't believe when we found out this huge mistake, gotta try best find regional sponsor!
  6. Thanks for your reply blossom79,What I meant was My husband has finished his trade cert3 course in Aus June 2012.and He has passed his job ready program step1 to lodge s485 visa, which has issued in Jan 2013. We were planning to go for s189 as soon as He finishes his job ready program. Knowing that him go ahead for further process of job ready,He needs to have 12 months of work experience. But as He has completed that time of work and try lodge for step2,We realized that all his work had to be registered and recorded whilst 12months.(should have done when received the result of step1) Basically He wasted 12months of work job ready wise and advised to start all over again. We have only 14months remaining on the 485 and It is very difficult to complete whole jobready plus EOI within the time frame. So He is forcing to look for regional sponsor at the moment and I was wondering whether RSMS requires completed Job ready outcome for a trade worker???
  7. Hi there,I'm new to the forum and writing behalf of my husband. It is a long story what we've been having trouble with Job ready program processing, but I simply would like to know that if we needed to complete job ready program to apply for RSMS visa,as a trade worker. Thanks in advance,
