Hi Sorry for the late reply. yeah I’m in SA. theres a company called skills SA who will advise you on what direct transferable qualifications you have and what will need to be transferred I found these pretty useful. Seek is a good one for jobs. maybe contact red appointments and Randstad they are the bigger agencies. Good luck with everything Dean

  5. FAO Galar It is possible to do the artc from the uk then do a distance learning course at peer and on arrival do a 3 day course to gain your licence. Hope this helps if you need any more info let me know Duggy281

  8. Hi Jonnathon. Don't worry about it mate I haven't done a lot of testing myself just keep checking your instruments to known source after everything you do go way over top with checking. Don't forget mate they want you to pass they are not there to catch you out. Talk him through every step of your testing. The tubular heater is fed from a spur directly fed from mcb. Big tip make sure you test the heater is not live before you do anything. Any more questions feel free to ask. Where abouts in oz you heading mate.

  12. Hi Derren. Noticed you are doing the ARTC do you have to be in Australia to do the ARTC. Or is it possible to do in the uk? I have gone down Vetassess route and got a tra certificate but believe it's not worth the paper it's written on over there. So looking at doing the ARTC and then distance learning at peer south Australia for the as/NZS 3000.2007 wiring regs course. Which state are you in ?
