1. Yeah I agree we use profiles all the time to saves building corners only thing I can really imagine being different is Guage lintel hights etc. but that's nothing dramatic.
 2. Can anyone tell me exactly how different bricklaying in wa is different from the uk, I've been bricking since the day I left school 13 years ago and am very intreuiged on how it is done differently in oz .
 3. so what was the score did you need a blue card or white card or something also did you have to prove you were a bricky like show nvqs? thanks

Alright mate,

I went to Perth bricklaying in 2006 and still have a lot of contacts for work. You'll be looked after and earn good money. I'm going to Perth next friday for three week for our reccie so will speak to a few people and see if i can get you a start. Its a little different to the uk as in they use profiles and build the outside skin first, but you'll pick it up easily enough mate.

Get in touch nearer the time and i'll give you some contact numbers mate.

The guy i worked for is an english fella, probally has one of the biggest bricklaying teams in Perth so will have loads of work, think at the minute he employs 18 brickies all on one site building school hospitals and domestic houses. Sound guy he is.

Get in touch
