Phil didnt know what had hit him when I was crying every day, he really didnt know what to do, bless him. I was exactly like you in that I never expected to feel so bad, which I think makes it worse - you try to like it, but the harder you try, the worse you feel and the more you hate it. You are doing exactly the right thing by taking it a day at a time - it's normal for you to miss people and for them to miss you - don't be hard on yourself. I'm here any time you want a chat.
