when we were there about 5 1/2 years back it was really good, but looking on google earth since looks a bit built up . is it?

know what you meen about being a trainee after 20 years inc apprenticeship, but if its got to be done then hey. were off to caloundra as deb has an auntie there ,as regards time scale it depends on what happens with the new sol and smp's in july .you on face book?.

the tra wont issue a cert without a visa number entitling you to work in oz

cant quite remember through my carling soaked grey cells what i sent but im sure when you have a think about all the diffferent jobs you have worked on you'll be alright i think i had to write a personal statement about what i did on a daily basis (**** me that was difficult) AVERAGE DAY whats an average day, be a bit creative :cool:

i know there is a lot of jobs on seek.com.au looking for sparks with alan bradley exp some willing to sponsor , i know when i spoke to peer kate told me not to mention vetassess to the tra apparently they dont like each other

mate i think if i were you i would do one ,get your hoilay visa and go , i have done a lot of research on this and kate at peer told me that once i,d got my cert from the tra (which you cant get without a visa number and an oz address to post it to) you do there course 2 days then get your license then transfer it to qld, but with all the different stories on here am unsure if this is still the case . i would be out of here and go and check it out for myself:radar:

i did mine 18 months ago in london a bit like the am2 mate but with a written part to it, you need to know your resistance reactance and inductance ie how to add them to get overall impedance,some basic installation ,basic testing,basic fault finding, we were given 12 hours , i walked out after 4 done pissed it, need to know any more just ask:cool:

neal did you get your visa before you got your artc cert or did you get it sent to somebody elses address

when you arrive in oz on your visa he can get a artc certificate from the tra by providing them with a copy of his qualifications and references this will enable him to get a training license until hes done his ozzy regs course 3 -5 days in adelaide to get his A grade ticket then transfer it to a different state except WA trust me it will be easier to go on your qualifications

if i were you i would go out on your hairdressing quqlifications they are still very much in demand and you should get in quite quickly. speaking as an electrician( twenty years experience) i still cant beleive how hard it is to get into oz, and all the hoops i have had to jump through, good luck
