Hiya! I moved there in 2009 after meeting a commodity trader in HK who lived there. She was really positive about the place so I thought I'd give it a go. I found it to be too industrial for my liking. The work situation wasn't great and neither were the beaches, I therefore decided that "The Gong" was. People were incredibly friendly though! T

<p>Life is somewhat hectic, as you know from experience!! We're going to Wollongong, whcih is an hour outside of Sydney, however if it's too slow, we'll up sticks and head into Sydney or maybe Melbourne. We're both a little unsure what to do jobwise, however I'm considering an estate agents business (after taking my exams) or maybe a complete change and start up another type of business....and you're right...life is for living....I don't want to regret "not" doing something when the only thing that truely holds me back is fear.....so I'm gonna go for it!</p>

<p>Hi Kim, I'm pleased your barbie went well. It's a shame I couldn't make it, as it would have been fun! Southminster is just down the road from me so we'll definitely have to get together soon. I'll be up for the next Essex meet too. I wanted to attend the last one, but ended up blowing out at the last minute. </p>

<p>I've been looking at flights today and I'm pretty shocked at the increase in price. I guess that's the price of oil for you! xx</p>
