Ha ha, it just doesn't suit us here. We're city people, Melbourne or Sydney would of been a better place, life and the 21st century . Don't want my kids to grow up here, ever met an Australian who's never been outside of WA....? All I can say is OMFG... I come from a very different place from them
Not my cuppa tea, been more used to black Heath fireworks, notting hill carnival , fat boy slim on Brighton beach, and all the festivals down Brighton, a few stools , shabby fireworks and a sizzle won't change me.
Which is fine if you have the money to do it, your never be able to relate to the cost of living in WA as your not affected by the mining boom like perth is, 12 bucks on average for a drink in Brisbane ..?
Your need to go away , as spending to much time stuck in isolation turns into a pressure cooker type of environment. Wish you luck on 80000 a year, average rent of 500 a week and a food bill for 5 of around 300 a week won't leave much, if any thing left...!
Nice post, said many times you need around 120 a year to live, scratch my head to think people can say they live on 70000 a year here, all I can think is they never have a holiday, and just sit down the beach or go to the local park every weekend. Oh we'll horses for courses and that old tosh ...!
