Rental properties?

We've been looking into rental properties for when we immigrate and just wondered whether there is the Oz's equivalent of Council Tax?

I've already figured that 'Bond' is the equivalent of a deposit but any replies would be much appreciated so we can budget for what we need to pay out when we get there.

Yes they have shire tax but unlike uk its in wiyh the rent

The only bills you are normally responsible for are electric and contents insurance,although you may get charged for water if you go over your limit(which is bloomin hard to do for an average family) ,the landlord is responsible for council tax etc,hope this helps a bit
