  1. many thanks for the information, it's really useful and I am leaning towards that area and the shire areas as they seem to be much better value with good schools.. does anyone have any feedback for Sutherland Shire School?
  2. That's a fantastic start thank you! I had been recommended the Shires by another frend so that's good to get your recommendations. Sounds ideal, we used to live in Dubai so we like somewhere with a good vibe! I'll have a good look on line at schools and rent and keep you posted! Thanks again!
  3. We will buy eventually.. Ideally 3 bed.. With pool but Will compromise on pool if near coast. Rent up to 750 p week. Either good state schools or lower priced private. Happy to downsize to coast but would prefer slightly larger house and garden within 30 min of beach.
  4. Hi Moving from Adelaide end of year for hubby's new job in Kingsgrove..both working near airport so need a nice suburb suitable for family with 2 kids, 14 and 6. Happy to commute up to an hour, would prefer not to far from beach and nice family environment with some community spirit and close to shops etc. Thanks!
  5. sorry to jump on this thread, we are looking at moving to Sunshine Coast and also looking at Matthew Flinders or NCC.. would love feedback.. also need a performing arts/dance school for my daughter..? we are looking at Woombye or Bli Bli area.. are there any areas to avoid with children? thanks guys!
  6. Hi We are looking into a move from Adelaide up to Sunshine Coast.. for weather & lifestyle change.. used to live in Dubai and love the heat! Really just looking for some feedback and advice, We are looking at Woombye to Bli Bli.. not too far from Brisbane so we can occasionally visit city life.Chose this area initially as there are good schools, NCC and other private schools. Also houses tend to have a bit more land. Hubby works from home, I may commute to airport.. Have a 6 year old, sports mad and a 13 year old heavily into performing arts. Is life good up in that region? Is there lots to do with kids? Any general advice much appreciated, thx.
  7. Hi hope you don't mind me butting in! We are contemplating moving from Adelaide to run a business in Picton.. Could I get some information from you about the area? Schools etc? We've just been up fm for a visit and loved it but it's a big move and we would love to know more about the area. Thanks!
  8. Hi we are considering a move from Adelaide to Picton Southern Highlands.. Just looking for general feedback on schools in the area.. Wollondilly Anglican? Would prefer private.. Daughter is heavily into dance, young son is football crazy! We are visiting this weekend briefly if anyone can spare some time to have a chat.. Thanks!
